Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:9 D1 }5 C# G" I/ B4 h. U' w
1) Any bodily injury or death;
6 S: L! Q& {; h# h2) A Hit-and-Run;
* p* X; J# h0 a3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
; F+ p: C; y! U6 I4 p4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;& B7 S2 U* ]4 C
5) An out-of-province vehicle.0 a, Q7 k5 h6 w
# p* J- a6 f0 gNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
