Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
9 I" }7 n3 ~: B9 g. p; A9 s1) Any bodily injury or death;
6 @5 S: j2 Q/ |0 M* L5 I2) A Hit-and-Run;
' D4 g5 e# p/ i* {6 e3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
8 Y' D7 U' \" D4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
7 y. H) x* @4 _% G/ R4 Q2 q$ ]5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.* [% T9 M; G5 s! G# M
