Where to find hotel deals in New York?

Experts please recommend good websites to find hotel deals in New York. I am looking for hotels not too far away from Manhattan. Thanks!

priceline.com bid Jersey City的Hyatt。跟曼哈顿只隔一条河。在酒店门口坐地铁去曼哈顿只要十分钟。

我也看了Brooklyn和Long Island，大概十来分钟到曼哈顿。很多酒店不让住三个人，我们带个小小孩。

You don't need hotel in New York. Try to find hotels in New Jeresy close to New York. It's much cheaper and very convinient. Don't bother rent a car. Take the bus or subway.

I have been there a few years ago, only took me half hour bus ride to Port Authority. From there, 10 minutes walking to Time Square; 10 minutes subway ride to Manhattan.

刚去priceline看了，可以选择city和星级，没看到可以选择Hyatt这样固定酒店名字的。最后让我输入信用卡，这样靠谱吗？主要是不知道bid的酒店名字地点，总有点不放心。

travel zoo这个网站可以帮你看那个网站最便宜。比如他会把expedia, faregeek, priceline之类的网站都列出来，然后你可以逐个点进去比较。

我觉得常用的有下面几个：hotwire, priceline, expedia, faregeek。

Question here. Because we are 2 adults + 1 child, we need a room with 2 beds. When I checked priceline.com, it says:
All rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults. Accommodations for additional guests are not guaranteed.

If I bid at biddingfortravel.com, is it possible to specify a room type?
