: N3 i7 [# L* vWithin the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. * V8 ^5 p) f. \0 Y

, @- Y+ V8 e8 t- h• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person+ l+ a$ }3 A( t- w
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
* e+ F7 ^/ r* M0 D$ u• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
4 D8 P8 `. Q- B, P; L0 z* F) _% z, V• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
' a; X: \$ _! h% G' Q• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
% h) X0 h: E2 I" k- [• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker3 a1 Q6 Y: a- D& i
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events+ ~2 a( X8 z$ w+ w- T8 K8 r
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters" Y6 W/ R, ]& k; P' Z0 O
• Maintain front counter service files" M. l2 W5 R: b* }2 R' h/ [
• Perform general office duties as assigned8 i M0 C$ T' I# j
• Report to ISP Program Manager& ` {; `+ |* ?$ b: n, m/ S/ u

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person# }/ C. O( s) }$ V9 ?
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset% m- Z+ R: U' i T( p( [4 h1 z# Q* ]& f
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
) Z( ]3 N2 u! E! X• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
* x* ?6 d0 m, t• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

4 C! D0 ~9 @7 R$ J1 E2 h7 P% w• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
4 C/ k3 u3 h3 u8 x• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
0 [8 f8 m2 l% L' L$ j" }: Q• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism. L8 q* I1 o! m& r$ h, V7 P
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
