Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
5 T) ~% w% A/ i6 JReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:# n' ^( i) W( c3 Y' ]' E0 ~6 c
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.# R2 n& j# t8 W) o, G; F5 m& B
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
$ [  O) H1 W" V( m3 G/ C•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.! b2 J3 f" q; x+ _' q6 p& b/ P
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
# ?9 T% t/ u  M9 s  T+ r; w•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
- o: m4 ^5 T6 m% i1 m•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
5 k5 M  r  t* A$ B0 w•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.* r8 y1 Z5 Y2 j& g. y8 J
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
5 J$ v+ f5 b- V, Y7 m4 v# M. l6 @•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
- h) @8 A+ {" L0 y0 b5 e  ?•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
$ I0 \! {2 t' c/ P4 N$ j8 ?•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
) z5 z1 h% D+ s. ^8 x* o•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# ~  q* x# @- q: t•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.1 n/ ^$ w' o! W: k. G9 |

Qualifications+ g; H4 w$ F; o) l* Z- I
Requirements:
8 |; |1 I$ q' A, ]8 M  O- ^% @' s•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
8 I/ G7 J& x7 |+ K. U& t9 Q% h•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 4 \" R4 u' J# B  d; ^: u; l& s
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 3 a; n1 z& w2 d! }, j1 f
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
5 O3 F0 P8 Z/ v6 n# ~•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
