Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  j& M. z8 t# c$ I$ C5 }0 W- Q6 ^Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
$ [( ~5 N1 y) O: }4 i•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
. s( ]5 j* N, r7 u•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
# }, S* }8 f' f( [" {•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
8 z: ?* n' [0 F2 f•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
' a$ p, i. R" l2 \- ]•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
* j3 P. l  D  p# ]& ]5 t5 M; P, s•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
- P5 L5 L7 N/ ?' [! S6 O6 l•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# F* I) r( r' C1 Y•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
4 w) L& \$ ?) \' ]3 F  x' [•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
