Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
1 p" m% n& E3 X8 a1 S5 OReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:' q) x4 q: ]( S5 r0 o; C6 h+ ]
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
3 p9 K3 ]$ |6 |•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members." f. s7 m+ @: }+ c1 F
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
2 F8 ?/ t8 J' [+ g" w9 T. i- k•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
* t% \6 P- x. d8 a& ^•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. . E' X, K$ T, x# ?" P
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
# O" W! v6 E9 u+ r3 H+ d3 i- Y' k; l  E* i•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.+ ^/ c7 V& G* Y* o0 |
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# N& C& S. o7 U  C1 t2 k$ i, _2 r. Y•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).1 p* c( [, {2 ^# s
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.7 |' H  D# l8 |& p
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.4 ~. T! f* I8 S! Z* p

Qualifications
# O. Q& p* T8 ]4 ~Requirements:) f9 d7 M/ ?2 x3 V1 p
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
2 V; i6 E( C& L1 f6 P  c•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. * J& ]! t& c* Z. h0 A, Y* N
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 5 x6 B% ~* m; y3 B' p
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.& c- Q! i$ H  P, W. u% @. @; V/ |
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.! J" ^0 v. R, }3 B: Z) C# R
