Description
3 b2 O# j0 u7 v- s/ l  k+ j8 eTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
5 x% A$ g9 x# l( GReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:: J- @+ T. b9 r: ^0 v8 j
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
7 p. ^3 ?) [/ x•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
2 C; S5 ~) p+ X$ \. v' C•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
1 W! `8 d; A! x+ {5 i+ d7 W( m: C•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
) z" u/ ~4 V) C0 |% J8 U, V•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 r0 p% ]) z. v. a  U4 `+ ^•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
. E& `# b9 g" v•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.: A  b" j, ?8 x( c  g
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
9 h0 w2 ?2 q5 l: d) \; S•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP)./ W/ B1 |$ Q3 S! _% [1 H- d# j& ^% g
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.0 B: q3 Y1 n) v1 |! _. H( M
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.1 h( E* ]* J! k8 k5 _! K3 X$ l- g
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.5 M0 q' e7 B$ y- j( L
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.1 P; ?+ r$ X) K0 @( e# {
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.+ u/ V4 v( j$ @7 W6 c  I
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
$ z, b* i1 p$ _6 Y+ F6 c7 q* S! t+ p, m•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & z, |) u& D  b; S8 {
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
* |0 G& m' m7 b# a•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
: R7 M1 {, m( S# \& w* e3 ?3 G- r•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
+ J9 B" W* H4 E$ m•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
