Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
- a7 d$ d/ |2 d" L. W•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
7 K; c, g3 h* j% @( o, @) l6 m8 E9 K8 r•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
' m9 \+ v, G% t7 ]•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
3 [8 G- D! ]) s•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
* z$ R0 i% I7 ~4 m7 Q( ]•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
: g6 D+ z) g5 |; O9 Y( [. S# lRequirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
4 @8 e; Z# n  b  v( u( T/ `•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
+ L' c+ t( ?: x6 W6 [+ e/ |1 t•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
