) I# z& C! Z# b3 ^8 b• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
0 `3 `, _: b7 N* B2 W A' z2 V• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- r# V& u0 Y* a- M+ U• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers! H2 u1 h1 ]5 N$ i$ Z0 f, `
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
( t3 i/ n5 H. D- z5 F& M5 m• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
8 T; C* g$ [7 B% d1 x• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment2 ^# G6 ~" ]4 C1 d+ S
• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools2 p3 Y& x( e1 k; V6 c: \* l# Z
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting9 n$ L4 D8 H. |/ [
• Mix paint, blend and match colors
- K u, Z7 J5 O. G% @0 L3 `• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns7 L. F! i4 `! s- L0 q8 @
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
# c d' ?3 A( W- s• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
8 X0 \* H6 {- d• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling

" ]3 ]* u; I) `6 R• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program 4 e+ \' x+ n5 q% ~3 d( K
or
Y" l4 {; m% H% W5 J* g9 i7 `A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
