在外地工作,必须租房, 年底可以报税吗?

家在edmonton, 但在peace river找到一个工作,总共5个月, 必须在那里租房,因为我对税每一点概念,像我这样在明年报税的时候可以抵扣吗? 需要什么样的文件?

谢谢, 因为我对税务不懂, 问题可能不是很清楚, 需要我解释请说一下.

有自己公司么？ Contractor ?

1 如果打工受薪，不可以，但可以退搬家费。
2 如果有公司，可以公司名义签临时住所给员工，但还要看公司收入状况。

You need employer to provide T2200 for employment expenses deduction. Otherwise, you cannot.

From your information, you FOUND a job other than your employer REQUIRES you work out of town. So, your rent is NOT deductible.(moving expense can be claimed, but you will be 90% get audit. So, keep all related receipts.)

以下内容只consider楼主是employment，
你搬去那里工作，房租是不可以抵税的，但是若公司同意开证明并且你保留有receipts，你可以最多claim 15天的moving expense，最多抵你在PR的5个月收入。
