+ s1 Y; u1 @: A# l3 gEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.' h1 {8 B, H( B) F* {
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
3 Y! o' i7 \- a" l7 q/ M•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ {. }- L$ I  c8 m0 M•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations./ {- q9 I' q/ ^# y, [( Y
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
$ v9 q0 n, \% B- W- g2 fo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release: N; z$ q8 e1 p) {, `; Z
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
0 H0 e7 O' H1 h& f5 Q( v4 T•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
9 H- \* L, T0 `o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
, L' g; q/ `, t/ o& oo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed  r; C5 t- L" w" x- r: u
•        Track and report all warranty failures
0 Z- y% g& _  a0 ~3 h" W6 \5 Mo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
9 N/ \( F' u* W$ Y* eo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
! |7 r9 b" m% \2 F•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development." B  M( ^9 f4 J# Z7 v( V" _
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports; a& [# v' X# O' H" M5 H% ^
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
+ q8 N/ _) M+ J& ]2 k3 Zo        Assist in writing and new product specification
) C" F6 e' E+ bo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
& d( I, o) n- ?0 ]o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
% [; b9 |4 P1 Y( G( g- F•        Assist in Sales support & training.
# t) K& f, Q& c& ?' ~% F•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.) e( q3 q, @2 m4 _6 e/ k+ o
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

List of Skills/Qualifications       
6 \( v/ M# x" B0 R& l•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
( h+ o8 d! M6 L+ O: R5 c, }: z7 s•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
0 R) Q( F# ^. n. s•        Proficient in software use and writing.
0 s2 C0 T5 U& e•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
