Scope and Purpose of Job
$ K: w+ J! y5 G5 IEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
% l0 N9 O9 v( d! C: E% D/ BMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
; {' j6 y2 L- P0 T•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
& S( q& n: v2 y8 B/ b) k7 u•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
) v  t  |3 {; d9 ?•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
; v3 T0 H3 S3 @•        Assist where needed in application questions.
- Z/ _, d# c2 h+ o# R1 _2 D•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

9 [( X( Y, |. V- ~. |o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
9 x6 R( [9 A8 J- r) Mo        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
; e$ |: \* {/ c, s# yo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

8 L" _! U$ ^, V+ V+ B5 l•        Assist in Sales support & training.
7 n+ t) f& p/ B" @/ V" X•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
5 b) `2 L  F! No        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers

# c2 I7 Q9 W2 E" L4 ^# r•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
8 }$ C6 c& R% ~$ A3 [* b; G•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
/ J  x/ b9 \. d+ H•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
