The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
/ U5 |/ ^' z3 o. p• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
# a5 u' |/ i  Z* I• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
3 J& D! c2 ?7 h5 ^0 r  J/ J• Completion of a high school diploma
4 l8 h. d6 B" C- c) g$ }& e  s' z• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
$ ~* o, b/ z' c+ ?( N% ?Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
6 V) b( B2 [% I• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
/ U9 h' g0 K# g$ U: P( `/ F7 z: l" J• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
9 {9 h5 E( ~* M• Standard First Aid with CPR
6 Y) Y, n; B' `6 D! \$ {# ^( G• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
9 w8 q; R% M$ d' A2 E% W• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
