The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

  }4 e: o* A2 }• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
0 {( l6 ]) w3 G! E; [7 O% R• Program implementation
- z# |' b" \7 N1 g• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
; {. |7 k  P; z& n3 B. }' q4 J• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
4 U& H8 S) x. {  p• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
9 K7 w2 A0 [# a9 `' W6 r% [• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
& k. W3 B' t/ }• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

- l5 D& m" U8 [% p0 uMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
1 Z- `( y0 e0 w# [/ hTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  Q; \  r& @4 z% {0 N• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
9 T# D. c2 x% z' W, c8 Z• *Medication Administration

7 @& L' ]7 a' X, pSkill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
# V( k- x$ i+ V• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
# Q" m) B+ @3 K, lSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
