The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

% Z7 [* m6 ~& Y* T  Y* ~6 |, K• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
( w. w3 r5 z# w" R9 E9 K$ ?• Program implementation
% o6 d3 p, R8 _3 p8 q% R- |• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 d2 o  z+ e9 D- X0 G• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
2 ]6 Z) I( E, k0 _3 M0 }( F  ~• Behavior management
* E; I; e( ?$ E/ x' M- W4 x• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Education
# M$ x; Q4 a% {8 r8 I- z. ^• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
, |( H( [6 a1 w6 q: w2 QTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
7 C- L  W4 }9 _: \1 b5 ]• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
! N4 I5 `: A% R- D7 i8 d  [• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
+ k8 k  b/ a+ M2 X$ j' A  D$ H0 D• *Medication Administration

3 ~  B- W: [& [; s% k; @' Y3 ~• Good verbal and written communication skills

9 Y5 ?& F1 ^9 |# |• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
