The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
- u7 v6 B+ b' k& ?• Program implementation
6 t! e* u9 ^$ V: l• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
5 ]1 q9 m' s' ^5 c• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
6 t6 O9 C) G4 L, u! O- D• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
4 W$ ~0 l9 S' ?8 ~  N+ ~• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Education
( d, Z9 w) ?$ e- R1 w: }• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
! V1 u) \( @2 K. ^- g' }( n. l• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
+ {! r/ U( w+ v3 S! l, p! I• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
7 W& I! E+ R% Q" Q( a2 o• Standard First Aid with CPR
8 v  Y; c" I% _9 A• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  g7 d: f( `. z: w3 z• Experience with personal care
  |  E6 h! _+ \( J( F0 M; v  s• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
