The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
2 B( _: ?+ a, l! q* o7 n+ S1 P5 e• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
$ I# T- y7 P, K5 K• Behavior management
0 Y* X$ b/ h" P& Y• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

1 r) I( e/ p6 K" ~% u, `: \Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
" z+ A9 Z9 J" v5 ~4 ]2 m• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
+ O6 {% `$ ~) V- L8 d3 eTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

! f( E0 A! r0 |$ f7 A  w( I• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

Skill Sets
$ E* X: v/ H' Z* [• Good verbal and written communication skills

' Z0 ]" C; x0 u6 y* cSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
