Asian youth to make healthy and safe choice. Recreational challenges, volunteering 5 a: J" g$ \" M2 J4 `8 Z
opportunities, leadership training, as well as educational sessions on

Each session presents concepts through interactive activities that encourage active discussion and participation." V V# Q) S K, I+ h

Program Schedule:
' A) K. T# n/ y; p$ _$ }# ]Regular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.( p; Y) ~& E2 B, C
Summer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

8 x* E9 ?3 C* o. K2 j, I" RAsian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.$ z1 ~1 D1 F& m4 v+ W
+ m2 Z2 A7 i4 F% wWhat is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?
+ I6 V: w5 H2 c& G+ @% sIt is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.

Volunteer’s Duties:

" h6 u9 Q ]; g8 e2 e Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies
, x" `4 J8 q2 |; A4 g$ j; m0 t! R Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development
1 ` J5 a! H, e0 ~1 m1 ~% @ { Facilitate or assist in ice-breakers and/or other activities
/ c3 Y' l1 H1 f) D Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
' R/ B, D5 e% K+ L7 | Research activities related to the sessions’ topic
! ^4 j; K5 h1 J' r Enforce safety rules during program sessions and fieldtrips

 On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years)
) A0 j. w2 L& W! d( ], P One time volunteers: minimum commitment is one seasonal session, i.e. 8 – 10 sessions in Spring, Fall or Summer; }- W. ]9 ?: B' `. Z6 \
