Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
6 Z. h9 ?( v  V( y$ rCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
. c2 ?8 v& D; [1 k7 f0 [9 N8 A2 T' M* p' |Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
; Z6 X, z  x- N+ w& y! R- u*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
7 I: ^) w5 q* T5 ?
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
. m! N5 }# ~* m% h9 z: T Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
1 y9 t( a. Q$ H2 N( D( m8 l6 c Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
9 n0 b5 ~3 O+ T Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
& I4 d1 A5 T7 j, W: |) G$ X% F Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
$ }2 V1 l# x$ O! W' e Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
% i8 M" e* X- o Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
0 h; P1 Z2 f0 [: ~# J6 S1 T Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
- L9 n: W& F$ ` Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
$ x4 k8 ~+ b+ _2 o Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
  ~1 `* N& X: |9 V* c Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
