The Position

* p! i  r  Q' mskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
4 V# ~& O$ i) h. {' q; i* v2 GDuties and responsibilities
General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
9 y' K3 l/ `2 V" C5 pdevelopment, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
2 `$ M: G7 f" j: z• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration
• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
5 v  M2 p' x: ]& _- N; t( prequired
Accounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
* B' y& n. X4 Y4 T1 W: E, ?• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
% i- |& o9 `/ EQualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
7 {0 J* s6 k  V* i, S' R$ C# m• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)
# ]* l, e9 ^. G$ u5 ^; g• Ability to flex time as required
• Clear criminal record check

• Part time – 24 hours per week.

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
8 T* N- K# R3 w8 x  p. b2 u; hCommunity Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
2 p; M  C4 z% K" h& d* ?$ H1 b* tVision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
; t9 }( o7 V, S9 ]$ n4 R7 D! p- wdeveloping a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
5 L; t% t8 E" f! T) Y8 d- Fand warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
