The Position

: E" T) r, o% l! A8 k" s* a3 A% u) jskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
* q  O+ R+ k# `Duties and responsibilities
7 Q) }1 s4 p% O+ _4 d. @+ J  _, ^General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
development, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
& [! B, _* ]8 C0 e# S• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
/ v$ r4 L( s. M! Y2 ?• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
5 T7 s* j. W+ N& r• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
4 V; z  c9 W9 F1 HAdministration
3 ^# i+ a1 D. h: ]• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as

Accounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
& i" E) I( R5 \2 _) K• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
' J" S( [8 x, m, x9 `% AQualifications
: D; p' a" j2 n1 Z# j, u" |• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
0 p3 W- ]+ S$ A2 H! ^• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)

• Clear criminal record check
• Requires personal vehicle

) e* h0 K6 z% T3 aCommunity Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
