Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
. a/ d6 m+ E3 S2 ?( @! I- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
+ U( m; E; j! \+ `& d- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.( ^& J( F8 v" x `4 P+ q3 B; U
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.6 t( p; D! a: ?& R" Z* I
