Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
! }9 `% G9 L" m2 Z! F( w- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
5 r7 u" R! n" Y8 G/ Q6 \1 T) c- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter./ V! f5 _0 z1 A9 y
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
