Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions: g. F2 O& \. Z w; [2 S+ t9 X" P
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
1 C2 K3 T( i5 e* m6 v' I; k V- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.3 U% e' A9 r1 ?1 R) ^# v4 W
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.+ g. g5 X) h f
