1. It's cool." p, {, Y7 S: r5 U1 T
* n& g- n- C0 m; L8 a$ \
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
5 s+ D4 i" M- \& v2 |- v    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
% @7 h2 p2 o* q! y    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
0 r+ E6 B& F; W' a: f; B7 m: ^  W8 y
. l+ T" L" J+ t( I* p  c( n主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。因此,也可以说: 9 Z$ j- a% f1 }" `" K: C9 m
    She (He) was cool in the past.
! `% @: |$ K  \    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) ) ~  ^1 `7 _" I6 p) r3 M' P; X
    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
$ O' k( O/ r$ x; m, S$ ~9 H! n; [5 U( e  o3 e
但是如果说:Are you cool?
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
( W+ Y/ A4 h; k. S/ ?    emotional.
" y1 }4 w2 T% R8 K, L2 D8 P
+ H2 r( s, P, Q( i* b2. Are you trippin'?
! E( U3 W5 X# A& V8 g- L2 C, k4 r5 a, y+ K7 z
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
    They are trippin'. (= tripping)   j* T% u+ q" C" z% }6 K+ i5 a
    She (he) is trippin'. 1 F2 a" ^. T) n+ P  t: s1 f5 t
Mr. A must be trippin'.
" b$ o9 l  a. a " e: P* p# y% U) |) o% {. t+ D6 z
3. He is a nerd# B1 Z8 J! l6 o0 k4 q; V

(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
1 N9 y  B0 c* W- |7 g    He used to be a nerd in high school " Y; K) v8 O  v( b

$ A9 G; g+ H) s& d5 t4. Yo baby" }( K3 x6 |* r& a6 P
, l! D- W7 i4 q' Q' s& D/ A+ o
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: " F0 R; h7 N6 `# O
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
" ]5 o6 Q8 Y9 iMay I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. 9 T. `4 h7 o8 c  P& `
A& I9 [& {+ ?- p( D6 c) a
    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) . S% E- |. |2 t# P2 r  _8 n) O
( h1 Q+ }5 `2 C
5. She is a ho) |( D, N; C5 V& ?: a

5 j  q) _2 [. (a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。 ho 也可用复数: - g7 X0 u% t, t" i+ ~0 A
    They are (were) hos. 7 u* b/ \6 P! p) P& S
    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
' w7 g* j$ w! Z# r$ e3 G: c: c6 T% z9 A1 J8 l
6. Catch you later!* _' F- `) _% D: ]/ ?
* d( Y! D9 f8 K! M5 @, K
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等) 1 Q5 `  m, |" _  q% k2 L
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
- I/ k1 s8 r8 e' @3 @(我要走了,再谈吧!)
