1. It's cool.
. y& ?3 r) w1 ^, Z
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
( H1 b, B7 j8 u6 L+ h- D That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
$ p" L# O8 S! @/ ?* { Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
8 s: T) I7 D( a) g: ]9 t- v' ]; j; `3 F3 R- J. |+ r$ h
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
& Y; Y8 u0 Y9 f She (He) was cool in the past.
' \0 F- }+ f0 K$ x2 N! p That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
& v6 u% U: ?2 e) y' U4 T+ w He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
; b2 [8 V- k1 i: L/ q% L9 b% o6 t3 f2 Y, o& B8 K1 h# y
但是如果说:Are you cool?
- q0 H* X0 c* h2 {0 @( L4 g: K% D She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
' ^0 C/ @% n& x* C: z' R0 ?2 E emotional.

2. Are you trippin'?
8 ]* g2 W5 ~+ B9 p* @/ ^. \+ m2 g6 e3 K% l* I
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
P1 \: G- n4 H. L" a They are trippin'. (= tripping) 9 x2 T) I; D; M/ h* o3 {/ O
She (he) is trippin'.
/ f" o* Z9 B ~Mr. A must be trippin'. : c, [9 n1 O* v1 z

! D8 n) J6 A2 ]- N3. He is a nerd( i; e% K: L5 {& c
0 o% g" q: c8 E) M9 o( R& s
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。
: E" q7 O4 h# d3 w He used to be a nerd in high school

4. Yo baby

(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: ) i; c" l, q' O2 M* ]
Yo baby, are you trippin'?
; s. g! K( v+ O8 W+ }6 u" pMay I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. 3 R0 q5 f$ T$ N" v8 i6 o
# N+ A6 U/ x: X5 O4 ? Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) ( x' w+ P0 B7 w' X

(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。 ho 也可用复数: ! b; Z1 J/ t2 ^4 E) _5 i+ i. t
They are (were) hos. & Q" w* y1 q( F- Y; _" k
There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)

# J- s, n. R C4 j* c% q6. Catch you later!1 m$ e) A% H3 b3 t" r
0 F m, H! C6 P9 e7 S
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
0 r: {8 }: L; @# Y有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. ( H, l: N& Y+ e r% y2 ~
