- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
! u1 f; i& C9 N, q/ O: k" c- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.( j; m* I1 P8 C% H2 N
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP9 s: ^) C9 e( R! G% |- k
- provide support to ISP staff
9 I3 B# f1 Y* i- S! L- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members; G) D' {% Y0 r+ e4 k" _) y& n
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- b5 c- R9 j3 M* x1 M% j- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated) Z, O* ^+ T9 u* }. ], f7 k, Z
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
+ v7 q- h0 T, U& o- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals+ t0 m, C$ B+ u6 d6 c' F
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder! z& u2 \ f8 S0 a
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
% E* e3 g5 [+ v- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities1 @. Y6 j9 E% @. A1 E& E
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications3 s0 F) d# U2 u) L( L
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered/ s' G( ?6 v) G8 s+ d7 K
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available, E! J3 L1 P U' {4 a( n9 V9 @
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers) u2 ^2 `5 v# M8 r2 [7 l
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software1 r7 @+ H6 G1 m$ {, v
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
