 Provide ongoing positive encouragement and support to clients accessing the Resource Centre.

 Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.

 Support newcomers participation in the settlement program.

 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.5 s% ?) j0 _' P$ R
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.

 Attend multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings, as required

 Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.
) W+ J8 C1 |' I Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.
) R$ X6 i0 V( A/ G( w- U& r+ W Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.
5 b  q3 z+ G" K4 a* \; q5 g Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.
. C: ]. I5 ^1 x+ v/ z Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

 Ensure that participants have access to the required supports to successfully complete their Service Plan

 Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada

 Complete participant reviews with the participants
! ]+ e9 B9 }* |- B8 f Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion- [/ ?$ y2 e% @; G' x
 Perform other duties as assigned by manager/coordinator
