FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

  C5 S1 g$ N# ~4 kDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 e5 N9 E( a. s$ z" K# x•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
3 V! R, o7 ?6 v' X" q•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
- `( M' h7 S" \3 I9 D% A, H•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
•        High attention to detail.
