9 G( A; {/ \5 Q+ pUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team$ q8 f' y7 t* q" R" J
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 p2 p0 Q+ B0 g- P8 |Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: y- \, J. h: ?2 ^" w& V& I
; b4 \& ?8 {# f% m2 y8 J4 P3 ~" p4 RTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.* k6 K2 ~1 c/ S K6 r% C

" N! s3 m) q2 E4 j3 cMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% x7 z2 }& H- k) \
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
8 l% ~8 ^$ z3 {8 X k. F7 \0 XSchool)& T, Q( G( m. m) G3 t* {
Must have supervisory experience. a9 F# M) x" [/ G6 h
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, A# i5 X; n9 x: s# aMust be computer literate. u% n( a5 x6 Q6 c& H% V3 F7 A
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
" _% {# q2 h% ]$ `Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network- G9 ^! t; H$ `8 a2 ?6 _
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills: i5 F9 R3 H6 f' o# `! |1 f' N
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already" L4 E6 ~! O; o+ j0 y' c+ {1 R5 \4 G
