Position Summary
$ }3 W' |( g9 V# w3 GUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
! x7 K, ]# z& b6 m3 Mplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; L. T0 b; q1 t, z1 l1 Q2 UMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

4 T/ ~/ `/ a1 @% O5 ?/ L/ k: uTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 I1 N3 B: M2 E1 GMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% A# b1 x* S4 I& e6 i* t+ wSchool)
Must have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
! C8 X5 g  `3 x0 Y1 aMust be computer literate
$ |+ x: R: l- i8 W' J# j9 ZMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
: T5 _& C  k3 J8 o- g8 HMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
