Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team/ b+ r) q4 y2 ^& p( |+ ]
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
% |5 |& @3 b' w6 sMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).5 t0 ?, T. B" J4 y7 b' D
- O% B7 J G( w2 j7 B5 qTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ O* ^/ l0 y8 b* N4 M$ Z9 F

Job Qualification$ b# ?1 ]! `& ^) l- E
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services* u8 |: ^1 G* D6 A1 V: q5 Y
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s! o3 v3 S! a' i( S B
School)
0 t1 ~. F u7 wMust have supervisory experience
- S6 u/ k! _. O e+ M$ ~/ LMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system3 j3 y: x3 Q4 k2 k6 l2 B( c4 ?
Must be computer literate0 \$ U2 b T3 ?( N, D1 ?' ]0 A
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
y' v3 f1 I. W+ ^5 BMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network( s+ f& ]) i1 f* {4 U; T
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills8 s# d# K) \$ _
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already. Z- p4 _$ f" y! U0 j# [
