Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team1 x% R2 E2 u/ I1 M# O
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 K8 X8 P; j( A7 dMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).9 d- m5 Y/ d' |$ Y& l0 c
) [5 F* ]4 e, x! G! T: I3 O3 FTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 o) i* @$ _( v! c+ _
& @& @5 `2 h! K' X' w) D& ?Job Qualification
% {' [. i# | [% Q- n: @7 A" j+ ZMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
. l2 c7 ]& T: U/ b# E) l: f* VMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
! L5 j. `3 A6 Z% h) fSchool)( U) C, m8 L5 i+ r, Y0 `# @0 j3 h
Must have supervisory experience
, Y. u; I" ]$ r: _5 ~Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
( J9 _/ n q" w0 AMust be computer literate
^# d! R' T" ` V5 R* }9 H5 dMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
* ]' R" x& z$ } ~8 bMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
# v% h. P/ g2 ? D9 r: ZMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills- ~1 ?9 L& {3 i5 M8 p1 f! ^
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already) l `0 v- D& T( X6 \/ }
