Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
) H% g% K7 i- jplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* S" r( K7 \3 mMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).9 x; ?) E! U W1 w1 w; D
7 Q9 `3 O+ C% s2 y/ I ~. N7 d0 UTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.8 l% R* e: w( ]7 o) u

Job Qualification9 F! \) [) P* @5 k( a
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services+ K) z! |% z4 A) T7 v6 }
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 X0 a4 g# l1 A! V& u7 }% t4 z
School)
4 g7 n5 {6 Q; O0 a4 MMust have supervisory experience3 d8 t' ?* ]% n7 I2 t7 _
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ v9 l# }4 E' T8 a, iMust be computer literate
* V* i, @4 m6 p5 P. y0 u8 \Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.6 m: z: F3 S6 l# U. }0 V4 l
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network4 s) S: F1 L% i8 j0 ]
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 _: h1 F5 P4 @" L
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ z2 ^3 ?7 Q. b- o6 _
