Position Summary

player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal9 Q7 n k7 c2 p+ h8 Y
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

+ h& B8 ~3 T; Q1 KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: R& T1 z- u1 }+ }9 p
8 B3 m/ p7 s; f+ UJob Qualification4 Q- I# Z& r% q6 c( {8 l
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
* P% B5 \( @- J, n2 h' p& i# z2 vMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s( ~( b9 h0 ?! d, N
School)
) n8 w) s$ w# A% E6 B5 P# V2 v! HMust have supervisory experience
2 {, Z7 S$ ~+ \) iMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system+ ~" b$ T2 t; W' ?
Must be computer literate& B8 j' b9 u. @0 T' j$ h4 u
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.# h/ Q) f4 O$ V4 i
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
6 b% p# e& _1 E5 jMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
$ d& b" {4 q/ N8 q" VMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already, ?, k, E( _7 Y, y# L" H
