Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 4 ]! }2 }" X X- sUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 W- `1 D3 x# K% x
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ W2 m7 W- w# K) X1 x# tMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
! S% {+ S4 r& ~' R
2 b$ k E$ P8 ^; K' G: x: @7 |To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 j( R# O* v1 Z" }

Job Qualification2 [0 R5 ~& J& E1 y. e4 n- e
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services0 A. x: e% R8 h5 l
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
" R2 n" s: Q Y3 I% SSchool)' r( F i6 i" k! P! \5 V) ~
Must have supervisory experience
5 P7 X5 e' C) x( i# Q, a, U7 lMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
. w( Z- n5 V0 v3 m: L+ X0 PMust be computer literate2 v4 ^, U3 U: x! {
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- f0 ^. ^- n! a8 w7 \, S. c
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network; D# R' f- o. e7 g0 q
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 T! H, b+ ?# q: T6 u0 ~8 p
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ Y( e) k6 F& i6 `
establish team.
