Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
( D" X# q' _+ y# `- U4 qplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
: `% q4 @/ |/ D$ _Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
- ]/ W+ ]( t6 [ x: { q' Q( r& I0 B+ m* n
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
3 a* q/ l8 M4 K& IMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services4 R, Q% o+ D" a8 I/ v6 |4 Y% D
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s2 D& s2 k8 y- I+ h- C8 Q7 c& S/ t
School)1 x5 y6 f& D1 t& c
Must have supervisory experience; H" Y3 z( R3 `: P; j8 o% B
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system& p/ T8 r* Q K9 Q6 ` s
Must be computer literate
- M1 r+ s" E: S8 T9 UMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! b% j4 M: L- M- Y: |- N4 v% eMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* ^5 A+ P6 z; \) M( ]
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
