Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team/ ?, H# q: ~9 A* ?* j7 o
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 }3 \$ v' b [4 rMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
! L3 s# z0 r' [9 s$ }2 C$ L
; X! q5 R5 U& b6 ^, X- \* m9 b( @% {To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification: E6 m6 _, c/ K3 Z. e
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 k$ A3 M9 n; p8 M# c7 w' LMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
! z G9 K! u/ [School)9 U# O! t h- A$ o8 _9 H6 w+ Y
Must have supervisory experience
' p; d9 \2 T3 b, N4 u' d, HMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, `# ]6 v# d" JMust be computer literate
# S- Y$ w" }8 F/ N' p, lMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 i3 k/ Q) l6 L" m- |
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
3 O0 F) m) M; Y1 w' yMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ _* K" j( m% p: f9 |3 b8 H
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% ^- U8 B2 S& I# }$ a( `
establish team.
