Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
0 k" `, z! n9 d# Wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
% h! Y! U' E6 N- P& CMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
; ?4 G) a8 r+ s- x# D; N
/ M; v: a9 A$ M. K/ u# w7 ]( B& {! B" xTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification, H$ M, B7 ?$ P# x( _ g
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services0 J( e6 P7 L$ i( _% B, s
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
, |7 V. t& F/ a2 [School)
/ I# }/ o; t0 e0 q+ AMust have supervisory experience1 b2 x# {2 l" t
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
) K% O6 {, p4 Y: LMust be computer literate
# U$ p- ~1 m* KMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.& r5 T# n6 N! r3 t4 Z
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
. R; H c4 u# x* \% h3 |Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills+ E! j1 J8 n6 W k- f
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
