Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team4 ^6 g0 P# l7 Y% Z( N" D2 {7 ]
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; D/ i Z" \3 Y- g( g) zMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).4 A6 a3 N2 C o
9 q7 d; @: I8 B( j) b* ^; l& J5 ^
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.0 C- i6 v& I8 T& ]
E! e8 I; Q6 j) ^% L# I8 R. [Job Qualification0 q! _5 U% ~' l8 e' n F
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! \" @0 X4 m( P' e! wMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
1 p; M8 s, K' x* u" V6 X, O0 _* qSchool)0 j9 r9 ]( J: c/ X
Must have supervisory experience
, X) a. L3 N5 w5 I8 _Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system; r$ p9 |7 @/ m# Z4 V
Must be computer literate) M! ~: F: n" a" o% U( ?3 L
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
0 F* o' w: \' A. d' }4 D/ B$ a+ OMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
: w) f7 A3 r: ?, f1 Q X7 QMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
