Position Summary
. G G" P* {1 F/ {Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team* @, h$ b+ |& Z; d
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
' {0 f: O) t2 G# k! `: V- t1 ?Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).7 d/ ^9 e( [( e) k

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 M( ?8 ?2 E6 s

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
X# L# ?" x) V3 G8 c7 Y# RMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% O1 I3 m9 }6 }, B7 uSchool), [4 ]4 n9 Q3 b: o. Q- j$ l" x. L! m
Must have supervisory experience4 V; Z6 z( o& F9 `' P) x1 c
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: p5 F, K, y2 c7 o# W1 G+ gMust be computer literate+ _4 f' }6 c, y. D) ~
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
* K2 U8 b7 Y! c- KMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, y8 W1 C3 t% S/ ^9 E
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills1 f/ S* K: G5 s- O- e8 [. f4 }
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already3 b9 A" f3 d* z! U
establish team.
