Position Summary$ s* g# R5 D& H8 C0 F0 n
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
7 r% @7 l/ T1 ~player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal+ l$ f- }$ b/ A+ M9 S; y4 U( l, F$ t
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: Q" x$ a' Z% s) d1 V% B+ V+ @
: d" \" |3 k# p+ K M
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
9 d. Y! b+ a+ LMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
8 p9 G. n. V# i: lSchool)7 W# {/ U( v& o0 H; h) o% t
Must have supervisory experience
' Y/ f6 a v6 j4 e0 ~Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 F: H( y) Z9 a/ F; s, _Must be computer literate& p- G( F1 }( N" g; {
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- o: J" K$ E7 r( o
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network: F' N7 `0 t& x: h5 h. L: p) e5 f: o
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
% a* {8 I4 J9 v1 @% XMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
