Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 4 y( C/ I( n4 KUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" U* M/ w& k. j6 `# T {( S# i4 rplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 g! ?, z- y. {7 KMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).2 k* u, g3 Z3 A2 z
, ?3 M7 G* E; ITo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit. ]( h1 e! ~, L$ z3 ?

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services- u' j# M8 L" _) x
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 {. k2 P7 k+ X7 F( B' W; m8 j6 }
School) ], `. v! g" S
Must have supervisory experience( c3 Y) x; k* O
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: z' f$ `+ o8 {& J( s/ Y$ h j
Must be computer literate
1 ^; G" {1 V5 a/ f9 w% j# Y3 gMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ Y3 p- d' u/ p O# S w$ hMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network$ C7 N5 C& E6 h/ c! i$ O& H
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills3 W( T# i: V* h3 O n n, B& U* o7 ?: Q
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already7 g* v5 v* F6 l
