Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team" w3 v/ w/ c' T0 u5 v9 H7 h; z
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
$ ?" ]. z% l6 w: s4 t/ R! oMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ ]4 x7 f% R$ ^ Z
; l" l) ~$ ^$ M$ y4 ?9 i
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification# p6 X6 _ s" c. c7 r: S- t. g
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: F5 U3 n2 ]9 M+ Y& Y; J4 m! ]Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 q' y0 N* I" a; b ^+ N' R
School)
Y$ o$ |6 I, J2 R N& d7 uMust have supervisory experience
3 v8 N* @6 f9 G- UMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system W$ p0 q; C r8 ]3 J; {
Must be computer literate3 u; q* A' p) |7 p2 h1 L% ^
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
. k6 B/ F; q4 h' n( T1 w% \Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
- {- G) M$ _& o( ]7 ^. iMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills+ J! P, R8 U3 p
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% F; B; k6 h7 t6 r2 ^
