Position Summary
, f/ h9 j1 H6 C! `- V( S3 p6 ]Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team: K7 |3 g/ V5 b+ J r" v9 \% D# d
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
7 v( w' S0 [- B/ D, K; Q9 s( @3 yMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
% l7 r4 b4 F- h- j* ~& W+ j: e8 p, x7 k+ l# y/ l2 w% D/ o* g
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.4 x& a, P4 U6 U

Job Qualification
) v) y: l! s. Y9 l& f3 J6 k/ L* rMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services4 v3 t8 ]% `% k# Z/ I: J
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s" ^" E4 K5 v3 L! {6 b* }
School)- t2 i6 z" g6 I1 ^+ \ q, i- q7 J4 b
Must have supervisory experience$ ~2 _( W7 B& d" X" Q: c
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system8 x; i3 C4 A0 U- _! ]( K+ c' l
Must be computer literate) Q& ]" S+ x* S3 E
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
0 i" F4 X+ R; t4 t. l9 \- gMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
