Position Summary
3 w+ M3 K' Z3 ]- U8 h& P8 ] S/ C) zUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team+ U! M" L1 G* }7 _; ~2 A
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
7 V- J+ X' ?9 u6 F, W% W; N$ L$ cMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ k* c! A, f! G4 B* s
: f7 {1 L, T! r7 X8 s; x/ eTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services" Z. h0 e3 }& J# i; `$ h! W+ g
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s8 G7 ?7 ?; g' N1 T* G* R$ s
School)& L4 G4 ?# p. T, O& D5 I
Must have supervisory experience% L2 g# G n [
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system) ]0 x1 n: w$ A
Must be computer literate
/ c6 x' C0 D( v9 mMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
