Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
7 m9 x1 j; x1 ]( ^1 A" }8 Fplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. `+ M( w* c. n. q5 c
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 p0 F0 M4 W4 M- z0 Y
# l) M: p8 F% c9 f+ W2 G9 P
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 _8 n; L+ g$ J {$ n' W, C

Job Qualification
. @! ], _/ d/ {* c: H: {+ dMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services l+ B! B( }1 ~1 `
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
) C/ u/ n7 b5 m/ `' TSchool)
% {- u0 Q0 U5 kMust have supervisory experience/ @0 o, e$ l k( c' ]
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# V* s6 I& g' M: g3 HMust be computer literate) b$ C7 I- U& E5 [7 }! H
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! O2 s/ h. a; W- L( g5 e5 eMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network" E% V3 u4 c- @& w
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
- m& q x8 ]! i) a3 T- pMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already/ u8 X, I( O8 R& ]9 u6 X3 s: P! V0 b& N
