Position Summary
, ?7 P% q, R7 gUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
8 E+ {/ ~+ d: l8 B: h" Cplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal' X ^) U. q5 p5 n7 l5 g3 Q3 J! X9 j! I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

W1 ETo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.$ d) j/ c2 N, G# I4 t/ |0 M

Job Qualification( w+ Z5 g( @8 I/ T7 z* f# ]
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
, l8 O/ f+ V( u1 {Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s1 S% J' F8 d/ R( B' k) L
School)' ~3 B" E$ t6 a1 I7 w
Must have supervisory experience" O2 U5 a0 J4 K1 ^- _7 Y5 P
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
5 k7 d0 Q) V4 J9 {# \7 DMust be computer literate
; F" A4 X# Q, S# _( d2 \. \Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.6 ~: p/ K! x2 P- l: X: A; Z8 j9 q
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network4 b) {9 V7 _8 E) L A( Y8 r
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills; Q5 C/ B5 W( G2 h
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already8 w, a+ H# d( N4 L
