Position Summary
~7 L L9 d$ Z9 @# KUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
: t6 q% U k. ^player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
1 R. Y$ D- r0 t/ M5 \$ cMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
0 k/ d* `+ o$ F8 }! F6 y+ e0 F7 \1 n( s- W! o
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

' x, {8 J: h" T+ hMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services" c0 \1 Y9 e1 F$ O
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s, L! P8 r/ [) h2 H7 r+ `8 y
School)
4 _6 @" [$ e7 N: C6 V7 V0 SMust have supervisory experience! j0 b, B8 i) d. k3 S7 o
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: n) d, l. ]2 K9 u
Must be computer literate2 E1 J$ Y# c3 J' x
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
# `1 E5 s) v( _& a y. ^Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
h9 z$ t- ~9 z" @# zMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
