Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
X2 B1 U$ f4 LUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
' ]- n ^, q. v, I* Eplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
6 R6 r1 O8 x% `: G* A1 x0 MMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
/ d7 ]6 W# S! J6 k7 r
( l, M2 i0 D$ QTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

, I3 }' p. f" x% R a5 D* WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services; q$ W- W* L: j+ N
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s, I1 u+ p( q, e& s! E9 h
School)2 W8 B, @/ R% d1 U; j$ S# p, v2 \5 I1 N
Must have supervisory experience
) x5 y1 y5 ]; ?, q# @$ DMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system# {6 @$ S, ~0 t3 u& L
Must be computer literate. L4 f0 P# i. x% L6 C2 P# V3 l
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
, w1 `$ L! |! Y* {( @1 FMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
3 H$ y" V% {* e! t: z Z1 iMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
" D7 h A4 m) r5 v7 GMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already8 r. U& e) F2 f* V+ U
