Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. ) I" r- ~9 e3 k5 w% i- d# DUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
* C+ A: y- ^. g, p$ qplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal" Q: n, e% Z! i, ^
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ |3 M# S. F1 C) i2 C& V: S
/ L- o* y, c q
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

7 |0 y- I3 f" XMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 x% w' g* J' L& r5 Q M# i- TMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s( i: g( t4 c* H! o" o
School)3 f, B# `7 W7 C2 h
Must have supervisory experience/ ?7 e# e- A' t9 s) h5 |- u' G
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system0 \5 ^2 y1 K9 g* U& T; W- z( w
Must be computer literate) Z. |/ Y! O! z5 r* L% @
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.) p0 V3 \7 a B# p! T6 O1 M
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
9 ]' o% C/ O* M' rMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills l; M4 ^$ c# h
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already6 O v! ]7 O% M% F9 @1 g7 Y# L
