Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
, j- K5 U( T- B! G3 Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
7 e5 R: a3 ]/ VMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP)., p( J, l/ s6 |. j2 x
7 W* k2 P6 l9 P6 z2 J5 P) WTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.5 L1 u( ]# M) S3 m/ Y
1 M9 ~+ W/ M' ?! C R$ ~0 ?Job Qualification- M, S* `0 H" V2 R) H
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services+ B! b6 _) h/ y& X# S
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
5 t9 F) S8 E; i L7 @$ m0 ZSchool)% {6 j5 {% {5 ?0 M
Must have supervisory experience
- Z# K3 T1 z: X* n' s/ ZMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system* Y5 z$ W9 r! `# v; p7 n8 d
Must be computer literate7 r* j! ]! a0 G$ A
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! ~& ^9 j/ P# qMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network/ }2 b( ?2 |) e
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
