Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team" c9 W; W A1 V4 v+ s/ c) T
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal* h4 r% }2 _- g! K/ |: H
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ R/ G4 y3 }+ _( A
1 _) R+ J, k* ~/ f5 |To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.1 A: A# E! ' k1 ~7 O# K2 j3 p5 w7 G3 QMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
1 _! ^( S P- |0 f! v% bMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s4 a' x% U, S+ ~1 { x
School)$ p1 P0 E/ W/ H* p5 {
Must have supervisory experience3 _1 [% s9 k+ P) e8 l3 ^
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system7 c- D1 I! H- U
Must be computer literate% r: K5 w6 s6 A" U- J* p
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.0 w5 C/ \2 C: F3 t. V Y
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network- N) L; |0 C2 M3 P/ G7 r
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills+ h8 Y# X$ f5 Z( E
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already( b+ ~$ D- h! Z6 R% n7 D& k( s
