Position Summary
8 m' k# h2 W5 K, }4 ]7 o2 cUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
3 P8 }2 g. W2 ]3 Z& c8 Eplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 y* B7 F! k% p/ zMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
- ~5 s9 F# K( \- @& @* D
2 h" J6 @2 F6 d+ vTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 x# W5 t! `+ ] k l3 [: g: P

Job Qualification
* J9 m& m. M7 z; I% {Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
+ G. @- K/ y+ p- k# AMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% ?: ?1 [5 [; kSchool)
" Y( E: p( [; ]# o+ YMust have supervisory experience; t( |" Y: `% y) w
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system9 j) s* S5 A6 g- c
Must be computer literate
- `; D$ K5 F sMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
* X: E" u$ E1 v* w% s8 _" a" p# {Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network9 @9 B; [6 \4 k7 B& n
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills# D( z: q' ]5 J) C$ l. `6 I
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% \ h# p$ w. Q
establish team.
