, B" D1 K* s& r, M8 [) GUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team, x4 y4 p3 a! x! a4 A
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
9 S1 F: n# q& N3 iMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP)./ b: c. J5 ]6 a$ f+ H2 w
; N1 [' z3 [( M
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.. |$ [- I# s. [5 u4 F
2 k' B2 m6 i+ ]5 T7 GJob Qualification
& h! Q3 y: T' B6 qMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services" g( l9 J9 X+ S2 o( T; E! }
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
( |! ^! c5 V5 a6 H0 J( D8 K+ n1 X, sSchool)8 K! h |1 ^8 r6 X' f) e2 E
Must have supervisory experience
5 t6 ]+ D# j; QMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system/ {1 c" ~) |1 C# n6 a6 @
Must be computer literate
, F! k" _6 ^1 [0 k, a7 z6 HMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 L5 }; q' j9 A' rMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network; ]9 R7 l7 g' Y% I
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ B6 k0 ?2 r. t/ v
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
