Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team& r9 ]9 s) b4 `2 t8 F
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
- W3 r5 O# k) v! M0 DMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
( P6 R! ]5 G! O- Y! Z
+ B3 }& ` U9 j$ Z. S/ M" STo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification" B' T8 b2 k/ j6 \
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
' J# }5 i0 M+ |7 V D4 \/ T( MMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s. K: y) X; a* Y+ @( A& r0 q; o
School)8 j+ d7 Z: `* c: z0 a; x
Must have supervisory experience
1 H6 h! x. U: c2 Y5 ]Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
6 n/ m) [& n6 Q- g" a7 o/ S# pMust be computer literate
6 \1 r' t7 G/ r. AMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.* F& Z, N* C# \/ [6 r5 w
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network( m- `% [" o: u' C
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
' C9 t V! v7 F. G0 n& e! P! SMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already* `5 M2 w' j; O! A7 K& l0 H
