Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team' B' g9 u. Y& j
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal1 P1 N& K( v. l: Z4 I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).* c p8 O; S- H* c' @$ p' H; W0 `
( k4 E0 e; q/ g/ U9 \" tTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services3 h3 }! L1 J% G5 }: T9 C4 m
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
3 d8 j! v6 _, g$ x+ C% l$ xSchool)
/ F* J/ Y y6 N: f: T% mMust have supervisory experience2 Q+ g# ~5 G1 D: G! ]
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# A# K( S- I, @/ M6 Y' [! kMust be computer literate
8 u& D _, c) RMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract. E3 N" {/ j# a1 _5 G. v8 m8 W5 Y
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network# R/ A; k5 R* [, e1 Y# W
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
