Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
2 x2 H/ J/ @" x7 q& @5 k& vplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* t1 U! t! h* l& ?Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 c& ]+ b: U% P; J: J' w
3 @/ B1 H- q- J; yTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.) Job Qualification
$ C0 P/ ~& o5 F# d0 h& X& o9 gMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services9 T: l6 v. d, b3 X" ^% @3 L
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s, S$ B% t# a" ^1 X: f
School)
4 Z" z4 @, n3 _Must have supervisory experience0 ~8 q% H( S% m
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system# N* ~9 a, S2 D$ |8 U9 z+ ^3 M: Y
Must be computer literate
1 l3 A" P* |$ \Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
2 j% y4 s0 k6 K0 r. jMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, @6 ?9 w7 P ^" R/ c( |. t# U
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 _4 j2 g& G. v p3 J
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already, X4 t; O& z w1 V8 `- t; X* l
