Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
0 E! X6 \! X- T# g( o+ H$ X2 Nplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* w- F7 y) w6 E* C2 M% bMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).# U+ k r: |# o, E8 c6 ^8 e. p. P
/ w5 D* ^, h0 l' ?& Y' x6 xTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

+ Q- d* c1 q. \0 w) lMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
- U5 i" x8 `. g' tMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s! N8 r3 \ r3 f1 |% Z- p
School)
0 m: |6 G0 {3 {' m4 w) m6 R# {Must have supervisory experience
* c6 x, ~0 B0 z* }1 kMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: x6 h- m# }! D& n& f/ JMust be computer literate
, F! N! {- ^/ d1 n; {Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.% w/ E, N- g5 c2 U$ Z
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network

Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
