Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 3 K0 F5 N! n5 g# AUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
/ ?% O+ B: _( j8 N6 }player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal% z7 u! P$ Z$ v# W. e7 W
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).0 k1 y+ z5 j5 e8 |
/ S! `$ t6 z3 m0 Z; q8 KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 t8 ]$ g/ g0 h4 ?( Z P

Job Qualification4 L0 p2 O4 P9 G5 i: u) O0 Q
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services" H' M9 t2 V6 Z
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
/ j* @1 R$ U( h# n4 q7 v0 WSchool)( j' ^% e- A* }/ h
Must have supervisory experience
T2 h4 w9 U" U+ ]. P. gMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
& d- z' J! X5 A. ?Must be computer literate! B- k+ u* t* l' F' ~
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
3 \% z0 [; r2 S/ j% e' } _Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network- q- J5 z: V- q2 p1 C3 u0 V" B
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills- ^% C* m; ], g9 T: ^. E
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% a( O$ x1 Q) F6 t
establish team.
