Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
) a) ~4 V6 v0 ]+ _- x/ g7 m8 Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

  s) z+ s+ J) G, {8 J" t6 ]To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

  V& {9 B! j/ s. QMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
' |- k/ ~% _  ^+ J6 @Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
$ k9 C$ t% H) W: O4 ^School)
Must have supervisory experience
6 L* S, c" T' u7 SMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: @  b  Q; r! xMust be computer literate
; E5 ^0 D, E( B% a' `* o# J8 }Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
' O7 M+ c" i  Q% E, l* v5 oMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
/ @! k; U% b! y7 AMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
" r6 M. b, r, |6 C, j( I9 lestablish team.
