Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. $ @4 K8 Y; R) R/ }+ S( e+ k- B' W: X; Xplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
( f. u! f* B% n& M; ^Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ c9 l% D& z2 z
6 w y8 H: K# j4 Z+ k7 u7 l% q) ETo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." Job Qualification. N6 V2 d+ ^( }, F' Z5 U9 D
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
$ B: }: Z, y0 E! ~9 GMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
+ c% Q0 x: I' oSchool)* r) T" S( S; O1 I8 K4 p
Must have supervisory experience$ q3 S2 I4 n2 U! d7 Q/ P% O% j4 c
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system9 {3 c- N$ c2 a
Must be computer literate
1 N9 h# K/ f2 m) X) Y& C& \' A, |9 jMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.! ?4 }- o1 M5 _& @) ^4 X
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network! J7 n3 d% ]( q# q8 @% P3 N
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills/ p! B* Y' `2 ~ U1 _
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already: x: I7 y3 [ |$ |2 ^
