Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team( F/ C( ~5 u+ T9 n+ k' y
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 b% |! I, j1 oMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; R( [0 p& z+ F9 Z, j$ l% b
5 _3 \/ V( T& ~5 N+ e+ K% [# Y
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ ~4 b# v; z8 J, j5 T9 l

. ?/ @' I. p: Y% ^( VMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services+ u i' M% q) ]- w+ D. O* @
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
, s8 }- ^. [+ _( H% n# v- _School)
G/ j; P5 Q3 oMust have supervisory experience
: F0 n3 \& u, C A$ IMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
& L9 S, ]- y [ V7 i4 DMust be computer literate
- X! k- b: d4 W# y) }* O0 u* GMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
# ?" J1 q# T5 JMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network( R+ h: e7 d! o3 T$ N
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
