2 o" t- w" ^% eUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
+ S! y7 I) [3 ^, J1 g/ X8 p+ ~player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal& E5 Z8 |: N+ W6 @8 }
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).' e; t' k7 ?: R! W) p, }! ]
2 ^& A2 \# ?% B& ^2 X; NTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 @! A* V" J4 [: ~/ O
! F$ D" H9 \! f/ c. E$ M+ f$ p+ L* v% DJob Qualification6 ]9 O" j+ l7 p
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
5 M E% ?+ N6 PMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
& W6 e. Q9 t/ K5 D7 b& dSchool)
, M3 Z! ]' I) W3 @7 R F% A wMust have supervisory experience! y! r+ q- ]& V/ r( B
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system7 Q- w }: [# s5 l2 u0 N2 U( _8 G
Must be computer literate
: J$ X+ b5 \. dMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
+ d; w M1 `7 X1 x' cMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network6 O' Z* w6 X3 d8 Z. J) r
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
- u. N' q e7 _Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% w* K* R9 _! z1 n" x% A1 x
