Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team# ^1 w' N9 `* o3 s6 H
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
) S6 n$ c% b' T2 `Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

/ @( G8 ^2 K* j6 ?; h8 xTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 q; L1 j, E8 n: D2 H2 M' f- T

Job Qualification
# Z" d6 e. D2 [" L/ V/ BMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services _2 I3 T) e: M- `, e7 P; u
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 e1 k0 c: @ O- V1 w7 M& y% I
School)" a' |" M! ]% z4 W5 [6 d5 d. ~1 E
Must have supervisory experience
3 \( H+ S& ~9 o. }/ o* @3 {8 `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 T0 H4 g5 G0 ?# A7 p5 tMust be computer literate
8 X7 h1 ^! h9 E; KMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract., J. M) ?) v; z* x2 \- h+ l; A7 U
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network6 I5 e, c' u8 k% |+ D _
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills1 I( ^ T2 x4 q' N& I( H% o6 v
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already" i) e$ }) g& F& X( u4 W
