Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
/ k" M9 P* H, F) O6 m. Bplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal6 W& t2 F# w* S. {, p3 @' X
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).9 o+ M( v7 y8 `: H2 T/ C4 J
) Q# s+ _( o G! V1 Y
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.. O) O- d) A9 I B5 J/ F

Job Qualification) S7 D# V [ B& Z4 ^( C, _6 P
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services O9 A7 V' W! K
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) U+ s! h( h+ O+ G* z, v
School)! {. t' ?1 }& S5 B) H5 O. n& {/ a
Must have supervisory experience
0 k7 h" F* ]* L4 x) M1 s' ^Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system" Z5 C3 j. [% J; o. h. O
Must be computer literate& Y. w$ U1 D" ^1 `1 e4 o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
0 h1 f9 h+ w* V) x, PMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
5 q+ u# f# F* v* K5 yMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills. |9 W) |5 ^+ U% n8 g
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
