Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team% `- l/ @2 e3 T: D$ }0 o* c4 {
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
' ]+ |0 j1 Z2 @( p5 I- eMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).7 K0 t* x' o3 ]1 i
4 I- m! ]: ]6 |* l: NTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.& C/ G5 Y1 Z9 p: t

Job Qualification& n0 c, S( A4 [5 S d
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services6 e2 r; `4 @2 S8 ]& ~
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
5 U% \/ ^9 Z% X1 P, }+ r: ^School)
: `' w8 ^1 b+ F4 ~. T2 r% qMust have supervisory experience
4 m c. ?' v }4 F+ ?! ~0 C9 {Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
3 j: w0 X3 i, c" C) o7 W hMust be computer literate/ }5 U( U0 c; K3 b! X" l% s7 [6 U
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.8 Q0 a9 ]) s+ m2 H
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network: d8 J' X4 w* u6 t+ P% C& j
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ p1 N0 r. J0 Q1 L
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already( w: _0 f$ ?8 L- s" L+ X' s
