Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
* ]7 i/ L7 [ mplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal, U1 j L( v; ]9 {! m/ _
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 U [ F6 E0 h: }
& [1 k! ~+ B- s% X2 N
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit./ l/ S! L8 y% D/ W3 O

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: G) [/ n( [8 W7 Z6 J& U7 {; jMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s" V+ P* [! C0 j) z
School)
& T0 b3 l6 o" z* WMust have supervisory experience- G% c; D7 b0 g% Z; @) R$ D) U
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
_3 I2 y' F, [2 E- w8 ZMust be computer literate1 b2 x. i1 d Y* P
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.7 d9 h0 T7 \2 q4 r
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* \) B) }* H, m5 X8 r
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills& Z) L9 j" L% p5 C
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
