Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
& l. x4 C( w w5 p+ ~Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team4 h+ j# _" q2 O* |
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. \; F: U, \$ \9 w" k
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).& s9 z9 @# G9 q R
; w; O5 |& G7 W3 [) }* u* i- R' ]( M0 }
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services- L3 \, @% I3 C
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) `9 k. I4 T( S! y U' O0 C T
School)
$ g# p2 G8 z- bMust have supervisory experience
; e* Q5 S1 D9 H0 V; Y9 LMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system& `$ W0 t+ {3 g2 `2 v( ^
Must be computer literate2 m) B7 z; ]/ t
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.$ O- @( F' p0 L9 A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
# `- F, p# {0 i M/ M# b4 {Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
