Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
+ O$ s& q' ]" {) t j$ yUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team' G% k; }/ X' O- i6 a
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 [0 i% g. U3 |+ l2 ~9 R. [
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

E8 }% X& V5 V ~; rTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services5 P* U8 F, z& u V1 `+ F* y9 d0 s" n
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
4 [9 A3 o. `' T2 L- NSchool)2 k# C# V( o$ q4 x$ H- O6 W) L
Must have supervisory experience7 w5 d: o5 I) W8 N. l7 y; o
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, r, N6 R) _% M/ K( fMust be computer literate8 t' C7 j1 H. y
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 e, y6 D6 @, r1 C4 b) }3 w6 A, A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
( l- f; Q% b) m( F& VMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
