Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team! I8 m0 E( H& ^/ k9 C
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal! r6 w P R" _6 a: k' ?
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).# z0 Z* D; M; z/ q8 _ a; k
- u( N* n4 v6 n" Q* lTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit., j: \. 0 R5 P4 r; _6 M7 Z/ v! ]) T4 i$ qJob Qualification, P* {+ e5 P& ^ s$ ^
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
1 s& Q( f p. L8 }+ ~* X$ V7 D- RMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s7 @# B+ l- W U" _
School) U9 d$ U3 h4 z! p) j
Must have supervisory experience5 K& j: v; ]3 b& {
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system4 c: x& z& P+ n% d
Must be computer literate
+ f; l% ?8 b: e1 kMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.4 p l0 X3 Z) {4 h: T* x* Q% k2 r
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, L* O2 F. P8 [. b* A
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
