Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
; A! X; w; h4 E, d- G! J6 UUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team3 F, E) E* x+ Q' {6 z6 B
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal! G4 c# c( O4 h! S+ j
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

' q1 {/ q) u" I. n+ J) e7 p5 UTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ Q" y! v4 M b% q9 L; T- T
( A# l5 v, h6 {3 O: E/ P, r/ \- v! {Job Qualification* C3 n) H, n$ M5 c! G& v; f! P
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! P; P0 r2 N g+ ?) a9 B1 b3 z, }
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
: b! @8 s: c2 R4 d0 |# [School)
- ]1 Q, p' ~- |! MMust have supervisory experience- R3 }0 o* I X0 v
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system' C+ a0 A# \' t6 D
Must be computer literate
3 S& G0 s( O% [Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
3 p* s% e% z' W; Y* i4 _7 {Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network+ r$ N# ^ f% N5 t$ y6 [
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
+ A6 ~8 [4 f0 mMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
