Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team* S$ l, u3 ?" ~
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
( G5 {4 x% i$ `1 LMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP)." E2 X: b9 F0 M
) ?5 a& H/ Q" F, E
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 O( K9 l0 \ C1 y N
' E8 T; s7 v' [/ X* X: R9 {. Y) lJob Qualification
! m: n. }9 B/ FMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services; }. [- G# M* Y6 h3 ] [1 n$ @& B5 a
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
" c0 { Z) ~; sSchool)! I, K! @* }; T- Z* y7 d0 \3 y: j
Must have supervisory experience
/ J- h# \. d* m, FMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ ~+ {9 j% z4 `" E; a* S9 |Must be computer literate
$ F' z+ Y& m- U! F" ^! C, t& v8 M8 W! yMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.

Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
