J+ V2 H) ~; [. w: d9 y* AUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team7 K9 O# z. O2 }1 m. ~# x3 {8 o
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal6 n/ f( I' ^2 Q1 F% u
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
. U1 a6 }% I, ~7 j7 J6 I
* Z1 L: u9 |+ O; ~; ^To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ b- ]8 h" L7 ]
8 U# n& o x/ N1 i; Q# b+ O% D, _Job Qualification' W& N1 M* ?5 z! P1 O! n
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services9 f$ k! t" Z- L( J7 U% z7 j
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
6 s" w+ T7 [( U' j9 `$ x2 B' ~School)
, r' j2 \4 q3 \0 a6 B) S1 QMust have supervisory experience6 W; y; \9 a4 X* R# E
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# K) W W ^# J9 ]; Y8 dMust be computer literate
; T8 x) ]1 u( }5 a$ H4 EMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
5 c) L# i* v$ WMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network8 m5 ]- V: |- b* V* N
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
+ b% {+ q/ k/ K1 R5 {Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
