Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. ) e# ~/ B6 O6 xUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team9 ^4 l! E0 D3 @, C V
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
6 W. I8 M X* W- _ `Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).( x6 {% E N8 K! |$ N2 u
2 P1 Y. V' k& A+ h7 Q
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services2 t) n" Z0 @( Y5 \9 i8 o5 H
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 ~3 N- F: d- g# \! N( zSchool)5 \! G: H# `1 ]! J: @' c5 v) m7 r# Y
Must have supervisory experience
/ K4 o8 U6 e: E# t( a! q8 V' uMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
+ A5 ^( V9 v8 iMust be computer literate
r$ b j+ T1 E, ^& f |7 e EMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ V% }& p9 S# G- x7 c( P5 u/ vMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) @4 k1 H& _# UMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
I/ p# o& R( h8 uMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already s; p& A: |2 }) M5 L% `
