Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
2 m" n# G0 x9 C7 V8 NUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team3 r* P$ s+ E5 Q6 J
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal: q) v) a4 F3 U) K/ k5 K3 F4 ^" d
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; [8 v, _! }0 K0 r/ Z1 ?

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

( ?7 n* {1 A0 t" u n& ]9 x) b7 q$ u) mMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
3 m( K. J2 {( R* g; qMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
2 ]( U) \, z& O( ASchool)
: v K+ A& T# R, ~: uMust have supervisory experience% G9 D+ X2 q' Z5 d* Q
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
' N4 w7 r! x% G- n; s6 FMust be computer literate
4 f% Y: V4 h+ i, AMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
5 ~0 |9 i! y4 e" lMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network4 Y4 Z* D$ t2 s
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills1 P# I0 Z1 z7 _! S# |) u
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
