Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
0 l# O$ n1 l" v. I, N8 D9 tplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
0 [7 I& a# j+ S& L: M8 Y# wMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 J6 D. e0 X+ r$ w' e8 ]$ {+ m

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.' k) x' L5 i$ y; e7 ?1 [4 g1 }( H6 _

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services5 y! @, G& O. k. Q+ m k- Q6 l
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
- k# a& v6 v' w# `6 F5 b4 q: N& k4 O5 ySchool)# e/ ^/ W1 w+ M* P. ` `% F
Must have supervisory experience
* v; S6 ]0 K4 J; p' ]Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
1 C3 G0 }4 \0 K7 KMust be computer literate, T# ?, P5 Z# L& `) p3 j
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract. V$ Q+ \7 p, `2 {; a
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network3 _2 U- G+ R- q2 B0 U1 C
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
