Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 9 ^/ o0 H! ]- i0 K. R, YUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
; q0 ]1 g* _% F& W+ Hplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal* r$ n Q1 W# |+ b6 L& K9 h
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
* l- _8 l3 d2 L3 h6 s6 b* F% d: R
+ y& g9 V" {* W* N, kTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% O, V" v8 T- v1 b+ Z
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) b- _. ^* y1 o0 A5 q! A) p* Z1 a
School)) v5 F" C6 B& \3 c+ V4 {# b
Must have supervisory experience V3 I/ M& r$ n8 O+ }
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system5 \" `0 K( Q, p/ N
Must be computer literate7 m+ W0 z% y9 f( w
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
y" ?# \$ Q3 z2 f' I: U) XMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
* A9 R) [, K5 c7 i4 b5 U9 ?Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
