Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
, K" g0 B) s5 I$ _ ?) D8 Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
. j6 j2 x, b3 W: W$ O% PMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP). K9 Q; C( S8 j$ \
1 m. G+ _8 Q x9 w* \6 HTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification( x6 q( i; E! `2 f; m( d
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services: ]8 w8 K! u% |1 Q6 I
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s' T( B8 q% w, n
School)
2 E2 H- K' }: _0 bMust have supervisory experience, X( Q% K0 C- P/ N% L
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system8 u3 @) Q0 }7 z7 e9 n9 q( C" R
Must be computer literate
) u* I. V1 P1 |9 J PMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.7 R v$ R7 ?2 y, }- W/ E
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
7 [' m, h5 ~0 h' Y1 C2 bMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
: |7 Z+ l2 s8 q, z5 m" m4 \* k/ WMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already9 E/ H1 o4 e8 q b! p
