Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team. R; ?/ i0 @( a* e
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal6 w8 { ?* G, t. \( d3 v$ F
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
( r# v( G6 I3 c$ j# a8 B& O9 j
8 t$ I7 ]& H- W; V$ _* KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.( z6 }2 M- `" e- f, T

Job Qualification- Y6 `- K$ H2 `. O) t" s) t
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% q9 O/ k# z) v, R4 K( j9 C- v
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
* B, b% k) M% w/ [3 z9 o/ kSchool)/ l$ m& M2 c0 \: u
Must have supervisory experience" T; i: Z1 a# ~% x) d
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
1 w6 N+ ~! Z) ^1 [% mMust be computer literate" ^7 m5 B1 `4 y. [
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.4 f( o+ E: X& m' I- [- ]
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network8 P: g/ P$ X0 w0 y# L
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
; U' H4 L& S/ q. S2 z$ _& W( \ NMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
