Position Summary

player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal! v8 A5 p: w! _ S1 O
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: X" U! W1 V+ ]9 s" J9 B
1 Y. o# I! t0 Q( l5 Q3 i, @1 xTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.1 S r# q* n B& ?9 u

Job Qualification7 m5 \4 ]% Y$ U5 B' N3 e" a; A" G
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services3 ]1 O' H' Q; r4 A8 ?" d$ S
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s4 X% A" h* l! {6 u
School)5 d6 R* K% c9 y* l3 a5 O9 ?4 w
Must have supervisory experience, D) V J& C0 |0 V+ n' n& g. _8 b
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
6 ^4 _6 {; _. U; M0 HMust be computer literate* L+ I* i/ w7 |) N# m6 W( C) R/ c
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
: R9 r" p5 I M C8 H" |$ jMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network

Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
