Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
; H! W M0 e2 X1 D7 Q, aUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team9 E$ q5 r' k' J( Z' x0 H
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
" p/ g3 f; }9 y2 X5 W# ~1 A' uMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

# ]5 ^9 i/ [' GTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

$ E9 N4 Q! C' u) z( f/ ^' ~3 FMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
* K& u3 |3 t- A0 x6 v( pMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s$ K8 m; a6 O3 s, a, J* z8 [1 q, m
School)& a: O( q4 K; F" g3 `1 R4 [
Must have supervisory experience7 Z, ^) @+ r) E* L A x
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
9 s1 v% }8 [& S- N( g" `Must be computer literate
0 f4 l! h2 w9 H# N1 F# o wMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
6 }. \2 Z+ `/ c* w7 mMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* n5 z/ E5 c+ c; ~
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
