Position Summary
+ C+ A7 t% Q1 x) [" \Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team; d4 k# [2 }' n
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal0 U. D( H$ H8 J4 R
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).) b7 G9 v, Y% C0 D4 N. r' k; w
) o( H0 ]9 i2 ^, q# p; |
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.; o) Z+ Z' l6 d: } C4 S0 S

Job Qualification
" w' A' c2 h8 v e: I' IMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 M1 V/ m- C& U4 m8 z3 e! R3 xMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s& g: Y& Z5 x6 e% H/ L1 s
School)
: N* t# @, y( H/ @9 ^1 vMust have supervisory experience* x9 E( z' \! z$ j" k& W6 F
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: ?" B3 t; e9 {0 D& D2 {
Must be computer literate) B$ I5 }1 b- y N
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
7 n5 A. p0 c* |; e2 I, M! t1 hMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
# n0 w* q! t( O1 I' y) lMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills, I9 }$ X1 q' g# R ?* w
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
