Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team4 B) P8 w9 {- o. L
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
: t. J ?7 D2 i6 {, ]$ y5 QMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).0 k: U3 |# \5 M/ J* J- F) }) g
$ w' h- Y t E7 W; {
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 [. C% c( D: @. _
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
, O7 t7 E& v9 u% n2 {1 |# ZSchool)
1 M; Y) `# g* ?! q q* oMust have supervisory experience) _( y& n$ s8 L& p' |/ _
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# s9 H& u) W* e; AMust be computer literate6 J% {# U2 @6 d" c4 J
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
' n# q9 u( X8 J; r' I6 b- \Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
K8 G" \( M! h0 I, w4 q. f [Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
* ]3 D7 @8 r1 Y$ P; yMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
