Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
$ f" p4 t6 j1 p7 @% X2 h2 }6 NUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team0 V; i( a6 a; U+ N, I* [8 v
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal; I# w* ?% @ p* G1 ^! v/ T% p
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).+ C+ i3 V; I( C4 Y; ?
) R$ J4 j# b8 n: d, ^" pTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.( X( ^+ A* Z/ H$ n- B& i: B

8 H; I- _7 V8 h# L6 ~6 R5 I8 hMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 l( h. G* k3 @Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s# S+ T/ p3 v4 N8 e2 p ]
School) i+ {5 o+ ^9 V! G0 c
Must have supervisory experience; a: L' `/ @8 d/ R* D0 |8 w
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% `3 B/ M: L) i4 vMust be computer literate# Z# w+ z- b) h# V4 {+ E1 M9 b U
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.1 H: ^) u' ]& `+ o5 @
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, v! k7 Q% ~! ]% `" i
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
* @+ s, n( @% x+ c1 B# rMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
