Position Summary
* I5 [- p% j& rUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team: `# Z- X* T# b3 |8 R
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; e$ ?' g+ i6 Y; E. T7 zMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

% X# H0 c8 x4 v8 T; rTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 i6 h9 [2 D ]# g

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services$ L/ ]* m; Y b, i
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
1 T6 _5 j, q2 c+ N: sSchool); _ M1 ^8 s! f; n$ p
Must have supervisory experience) j* _( v% R& b: }; H
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 m0 E% S/ a% v) zMust be computer literate W7 D/ D% v+ b8 Y" t, Z) E
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.+ }; q% \' Z ?
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
$ `* J) r9 X$ |! S# D- HMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills: X6 q7 m; q, K: x
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
