Position Summary
, u% d6 n( V4 b; k. ? |Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
& o4 [* p8 l y ?8 R$ K; ]" Wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. x1 } z, ~9 c: ^ L0 e! l! m
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

4 e. \" ~! s: }2 e# YTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.* T, e# z* V$ x# h9 Z

Job Qualification4 M) F: F( p `2 ~5 F
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
- `- k. Y. L% }: E, }Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s- h- x+ V+ j) ~1 A0 b- J
School)
& h D6 y1 n) \ OMust have supervisory experience ~4 t3 p. d. H" Y5 O# z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: }. U' Z- x) R1 I5 XMust be computer literate3 c7 V& B% F9 l! j
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- k7 \8 t8 l, }; f1 o" s, X
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
+ {4 W" X+ H( [1 CMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
