Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team' F/ v! s. m3 Z6 Q5 k2 K+ w
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal3 F0 X: U% @: R9 v8 q
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
9 t5 {7 N/ }3 N/ R$ K+ M% C' t+ W0 b% U$ U2 W
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification/ X- @. i1 b" p) t
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services7 i. u! A! N1 r) O& F
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
+ J4 e9 I3 Q/ b' ^ p0 R8 m; rSchool)9 q& \; \' Z% f3 R8 `' l" Y) y1 F+ L
Must have supervisory experience# u. S, w9 _/ T$ `( H% H$ I3 l w
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ h# z4 r% J2 U! D' e2 ~Must be computer literate* q: u% M9 z' l$ L h
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! H: T, B$ g3 P7 n% BMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
7 ~ ]/ E! M' C) E5 L7 u! ZMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ _& ]' P# X* o3 m- ~# a! P( r
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already+ ~9 ?9 h1 W* z5 D0 Q* ]; W" n, h
