Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team+ ~; M, ^# s( \+ a( \: P
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 l9 J* ]$ x$ O' P% GMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).% R: v/ g# A; H$ y! V8 |
! j$ k" R' r# p9 k/ L* t3 rTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

W5 P" S5 S. r9 SMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! o. O) i9 P) E4 ]Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
) M! a. ^4 O& G1 R; } K( zSchool): T9 P: j1 }' J5 F
Must have supervisory experience% Y5 y& S9 J1 {, h- E F$ W
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
& C! b" E" o, Y6 K' Z$ aMust be computer literate3 b* E) z4 C9 u" `+ W: [
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
) J- C* N1 I H5 E* U7 I3 |# d$ tMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
# H, b. z" q5 RMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills- C2 k5 U- w" s9 Q) ^ m" d
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
