Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" F- Z8 ]0 W. r* wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 c8 k9 `% X- M! H# X* H0 c
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) U' L1 M9 U( _1 f2 ~8 D
1 s8 n) o9 v. o. m( b/ V! \8 a* s# }To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.4 O" _& h& ~) x3 v- _1 N3 b

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: i) q) w+ O7 D# TMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
$ ~; z# v) e5 s$ C) MSchool)
2 V4 ?4 k5 T+ s/ D, h0 d2 {8 ]Must have supervisory experience/ E: q1 {$ x: t0 K( I9 S
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system# o, ^0 i" R5 X1 I; ]! r/ i8 y' U
Must be computer literate
/ T3 w7 E' \, r, }2 vMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 Z$ e$ B7 l* v& K9 Q% JMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network; j% [5 W: n: Y
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
7 i, E7 \) B: H" JMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already6 [/ j& v* [1 i, }2 X& d* T( X
establish team.
