Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
1 Q3 {- Y& l5 M' o1 s6 {Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* D# {8 u8 S# q# QMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
& Z2 R( o( m5 W3 F% g7 USchool)
+ b# n" b$ f$ U6 v) w& |Must have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
3 |0 q! |' z1 I) wMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
/ J' ]0 B! G- t( G) j4 y; {3 lMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
. Z; I8 @% b6 a* |& M! zMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
establish team.
