Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team% {! P: B+ D# q$ \! Z. \+ z
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal/ K+ F& E/ Q+ o: N: s4 O0 S
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP). l% K/ x* ?4 {4 z
% r& j- R6 x/ Z6 m8 p2 kTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification% z; X; q6 M3 Y1 M
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
. e0 `# G0 x- A6 nMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
+ d3 ` r# e& tSchool)& H' D P7 V8 R& v8 A7 M) o5 e% ]0 H
Must have supervisory experience
( v( g) m% }( F3 d: nMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 S; m' ?5 L4 Q9 K6 W. n) RMust be computer literate
3 s" F& {& N& U: u& [& j, O) hMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
) o) h% Z& h' \Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network) q8 _: r# y$ k) c
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills4 f' ^% c$ Y- g
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already6 J, w% w1 H6 i" I- [2 @8 p+ d
