Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team# \% k/ f- [" t$ t# i* j- C4 P
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
n$ \2 u% _( a# ]Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
& `5 |! S7 m$ S j! X4 ~
3 Q. }+ l" y. x% h8 x+ P- k) [To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
4 G# ` X M2 I2 O: tMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
# n+ u$ H( ~9 W8 ?Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
6 l9 p" E# Z( L; PSchool)/ s% ~6 m- m4 p* `$ E( l
Must have supervisory experience$ e& L( ~' l, v3 q3 \
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
( O: R* d X* ?9 e" Z* DMust be computer literate
2 g2 @7 O# c% z0 e. NMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.% [7 r- V/ w, O B7 k! N9 I/ W6 m
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network6 G9 h c/ L% S9 D- V0 A
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
) C6 A0 \* K% [& U# @7 w* BMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already, P; N+ U, i3 g3 i
