Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
; Y/ P: ]- {. |# N0 | wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ t. ^' u0 \" Z6 L* d$ q# k0 SMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
4 h/ G7 ~ |# | d+ d$ m) U1 q3 ^+ c ^, l
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: J* ^9 o3 O# K

Job Qualification: E" O+ E, Z: n
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services9 S* u! v6 ]! x4 \. g8 X [
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 |5 \6 l6 F( Y, f) zSchool)5 j: Z. H" j' S7 a, ]" e5 d
Must have supervisory experience
& k# U- p* ~! K( V$ kMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
X. G$ t+ } k1 n& t7 T" X7 M* XMust be computer literate( \9 w* L, |2 o: @/ C& @4 C
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 W3 h' k% g s. E1 v
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network: r9 J9 x+ @ i
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
( C6 T2 {5 \8 `2 A' G9 F* ^' S' zMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already- W, K( H& k6 Z2 ~& e3 M' N
