Position Summary
. L* q* w# o1 F# p% A1 x1 ^Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
! g  F  t" i4 O. B9 {
4 k5 U3 {0 M# ]6 STo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
( Q; k: b8 L! _- E' T) G( d' s3 W! @Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
School)
Must have supervisory experience
0 y+ r$ d: v' H8 S) F( B7 `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network

Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
