Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
& V8 G* t7 Z9 L$ ], |player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal1 y9 [) Y7 D) d" g, A4 L
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 g, j% r; D; P% Q% x `- u& [: n
m9 H1 X5 m' j/ H4 w! x3 D( w. ?: ATo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
" U0 p, V' G/ t; @Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services$ L6 g1 n( |% h- L+ |4 C5 J
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
N8 A: p# n4 W2 t; mSchool)( x( ?" `8 \1 Z6 N; T
Must have supervisory experience" `8 X2 n, F& J
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# Q9 b @1 b5 v9 A% @; v$ sMust be computer literate$ w v- `9 E$ ] r: z# R
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.# U8 k% o9 N/ J& X! `) q
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network. j& ^$ V! L# T
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
% c/ X# Q$ }: WMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
