Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
. Y. _$ k% E$ _. YUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team$ \. _4 S, W. c6 _( T: d$ X
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
G; ]) e6 f0 T7 M w0 a. `, |Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).' y' V; s5 q$ h, H
. j4 s) g. J+ i8 j& LTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit. E- o) K/ O6 z ^9 h* s

Job Qualification6 E* h& t; J2 B/ Z: J0 |3 g
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
; O( j1 Q, h: u7 u0 ]$ UMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
( j5 |" m6 G6 ~School)9 Z3 l! c- P) J* T. x+ J5 z7 R& l, r
Must have supervisory experience [ Y( b9 @* @& e# S
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: }. q1 ?- n* LMust be computer literate
4 Z$ G% |! g4 W# EMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract./ q6 b8 f1 c6 M! }. ^6 o
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network/ ^8 K! I, a2 c
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
: @3 s: \2 i c2 ^' H& a/ z5 WMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already. W1 S: b7 f' P( `
