Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. " a) S) q4 A5 T( f! jUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team7 d& e- V' j5 z M% _0 g
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal9 Y H$ e5 q9 b0 A- a1 G
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).5 ~( Z2 `" q: w) l( X" i! p1 C

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

1 M- n& q& b1 f) V+ eMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
" Z) g: N1 B; S% Q# [ MMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 I$ z* E$ R9 }4 {7 i0 r. _
School)8 a+ n @* a6 H, i
Must have supervisory experience! W9 O/ p9 p! z. U
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: {! e9 f; h% n& Z5 t2 q
Must be computer literate7 I/ |7 j0 `2 v1 V/ T
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
; `, H" X" Y/ o3 ~0 Z* T/ }Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! e1 C* ?( w/ X% QMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
