Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team, d: n1 w q; V5 Y- P
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal" N) C! k$ V/ h% ?8 \& A0 \( B
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).1 h+ f6 u: T/ Q0 s r
: L& c2 t7 z: t) F( n- GTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.3 b) I( O9 [" i0 b/ Q' T7 J

Job Qualification3 g3 e' }) c6 N |: Z: e, |. j
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! m+ v; c7 y) J$ v, a5 d
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s, w3 C% ^0 U+ q/ Q9 l
School)
" h$ C9 R# w: F2 o7 M( G- @2 v% aMust have supervisory experience: M3 _9 v8 c3 {- N/ d3 \& r
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
' O- T# {* h6 ?' V2 yMust be computer literate& l3 ^; E' ]4 h. N# [. h
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
: _3 h7 e) ]8 ^; r/ z+ R' FMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network7 f% @. G, d+ p4 U5 ?; p) S
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills O6 L8 M) |$ p6 N* ]5 ]( N! ]/ S
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already+ E# Q+ O7 `0 E1 Q. \' j% ^$ u0 m
