Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team% Z4 Q+ ^+ ^ e+ e- |# X# G
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal& E/ D+ o" m f7 C, H I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
$ X6 A) ]3 ?, R/ g' ?; I0 g$ }" M K* a1 a3 J) {1 E: H/ a2 G
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit./ l6 } p8 A7 s0 _. }; m9 k

Job Qualification( R9 { K O/ N, {
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services: @0 N; o) R0 a+ Q' M5 p# K8 @
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
; |; Y; I) v$ e. k+ m3 jSchool)
! M: W: g! @; j l% ?: }& BMust have supervisory experience
8 V3 w& R4 n6 [* x& IMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
5 @. ^- q( \4 z8 B. A+ @Must be computer literate! H% j) a% e8 F! @, J
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract." i a" I# b$ |+ B+ h
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! s6 `) A: A/ F+ hMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
% g0 {- m& ?% X8 w& {Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
