Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team' h1 v6 e6 l4 c3 n4 [' s
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 o6 x5 L2 v4 K6 r4 O1 d5 t6 w3 h
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; |& X1 s2 n. N% S5 K0 S
. ?9 p I/ ]6 p- G& {2 LTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit. |- {" X7 F' Y# \& w

Job Qualification
' E2 }: Y% P Y; `Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 D/ W7 f. f! z, T
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 P4 n# ^& A2 v1 o; s' FSchool) ?2 X3 v1 m0 C; m2 P, J# P/ y5 `
Must have supervisory experience
" U: y% P1 v4 j) d1 `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system5 [4 F$ |+ C" F6 ]" X, A
Must be computer literate
1 K6 O5 N) o$ `5 k/ Y3 ~! qMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.( X& R" P) J; n: @6 w
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) h1 _# r `! g1 L* T: @8 Z% dMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
5 X! Y, E5 b; {. m) S0 @2 nMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
