Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
% Y: {+ |7 N" Q# t3 AUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
, p" {' l0 y/ s( U, p6 v1 V) A9 r3 gplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal+ ^5 L% Q; S) P
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).1 K5 q/ r& r/ E# J$ g1 z; H \ E

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 d1 s) \/ x! 6 m% h6 q, |5 I- JJob Qualification
5 H9 W7 ~+ G6 Q9 YMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
% k8 k" E# @% g$ R/ jMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s2 E$ r3 V% M0 ~8 J1 O! Q( i
School)% Y+ b, Z9 G4 w7 J
Must have supervisory experience
# W) m0 J3 Z5 V7 Z# i6 p: HMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system1 a0 A- G" K) Q) J! T- z# R# l
Must be computer literate% ~7 c5 V) D+ H% r
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.* k% Z& W: T4 Z7 u. q' R/ w" N
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
% ?. l! O- a: tMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
5 ?# G: h+ c5 x6 AMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
