Position Summary
/ u( `; o0 H) v5 G$ j6 u3 RUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team+ }. y8 }5 l) J; ]
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal; o5 c/ B' c" j& [2 h' \
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

3 C6 {4 o2 S9 z# h {# S- h% \To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

8 L$ ?$ k k4 d _Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: {! g9 L; F, W* W1 _9 W( f5 lMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% {' z5 }/ n) ?5 \* C( b! dSchool): |0 c9 Q" S) G$ t
Must have supervisory experience: S( m9 ?' D2 z/ R6 v
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system5 m) K, ?& _% F/ j R/ W; }- e
Must be computer literate L% Z7 p/ n6 t$ r2 P; o/ J
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.& u# F# s4 [* K: H" q) y& C8 \
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
, x9 s. Y9 B$ m5 I2 @- L+ yMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 z! L# N/ p( F: \5 F) Y) w
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already- z5 Q/ A: @' K% g
