Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team5 U% J: h- l7 o
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
7 Q: {# l9 |2 DMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
! P: h7 j6 j/ b( \+ C* O; k. L% X: I) U8 b8 q0 j
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.5 N2 S+ B& O! L( h* Y2 ~2 o

Job Qualification& m8 j% @+ m3 s* r" Y3 b# v
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
# J; G R. u3 q7 @3 Z$ `, xMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
& L7 s% @2 M' wSchool)
2 I5 f4 h: e: u: C$ zMust have supervisory experience5 d: s. _; l# _6 [ K2 y9 l
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system6 B6 b* H: A; _4 ]! J) f( O$ h# V
Must be computer literate! |4 ~' b1 z7 N9 m
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
" |5 P% o: ^/ W$ s. ]& TMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network! k) c/ k. t0 D q% z! @
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills6 p" b5 H+ h2 M& ?1 F9 }
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already5 }4 K( q7 }2 q3 m6 _
