Position Summary
5 L5 m: I# X9 g+ v$ yUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 S5 \1 n: w) W& x, G* N0 }& s+ h
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 _7 Y7 h/ U* l( pMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP)." S6 G( k- K) g5 v* f% q
! n. U' V$ R' m7 E5 }- N/ ] rTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

1 F. B ~5 L k/ v( wMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services9 i+ n" a2 i5 B, \2 O
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s3 _4 R5 n* Y6 `( I! ^% f# ]2 P a
School)+ i5 _8 o2 O s) ? @& q" \
Must have supervisory experience+ K+ S ?' `" M( f' W0 q2 R8 M7 l
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, ?4 _8 f" b- J' g9 TMust be computer literate
T# x2 o: J. r9 u6 b8 aMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
+ X" \" C$ d) l+ O, W n4 yMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
8 S( B# y4 i# Y( ?0 T8 M: e6 I, l) b. NMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 E2 Z% ^# x2 d& L
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
