Position Summary
9 k6 k4 v$ l2 G0 J* L, d1 SUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team* y8 \1 W7 B; G; l$ d) Y
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. v, Q. \4 t$ P( H' W7 Y% W
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
, ~' d6 E& W6 Z* E3 C* W( D, _# a0 v( j/ ~' C4 d) L
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 `' ^2 q" @7 w

Job Qualification
& U! ^( P1 n& ]4 b) J" R- F& VMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
. G# g# A# k! W p3 h9 y# s1 yMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s7 T$ K. W- i& N# h/ W
School)# K; K' t( t& F' t1 C3 l- O
Must have supervisory experience! r# y4 }6 P4 P: x% M3 H( E
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system- i u* m+ ^- N+ q* v H
Must be computer literate
. W$ d9 T/ O# x0 rMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
% ?7 x% K0 Q* S/ ^8 W* QMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* o* `9 W3 G0 ~2 R% g
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills( I; ?! L: R! |; F- I4 Y! M+ A
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
