Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
. N0 q/ L; x, F. ]8 a) Jplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal6 z- Y9 F) p" { E t( r
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).! S, d C6 \9 ~+ k6 R8 a, Z
2 p/ u9 L1 s ^) a' C1 V: e
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification' s# ^" C& f( K' S
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! |: [8 R! D! V: Z- Q- Q% |
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s/ @: |7 Q g) y) ?4 B; G
School)
6 Q X* m6 }2 l# C* |4 xMust have supervisory experience& y$ u+ T: s0 k; Q' v- P
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: R& a4 t( H2 ^Must be computer literate4 K6 A' C2 @+ ^9 ]6 ?5 U
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.6 a$ G3 t4 Q8 k1 z2 W
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! L$ r/ o/ F0 F9 a: J1 t& @Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 U0 e `' v) F( r8 v+ x
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
