Position Summary
! b8 A+ T- q* m1 W+ BUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
$ w' y' a4 W* ^: M/ Z" d0 |player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal/ P O8 }4 z! O( w3 Y6 e9 C" I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 A0 b- Z+ T! \! O" ~; P
3 b; r% i0 {) Y! RTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 b5 D0 @1 o4 L- E/ S

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
5 ?+ F% e3 B, p" B! f1 M1 g( CMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s& l$ f5 r, T; q" k
School)
! P X2 P4 o/ c* }: ?Must have supervisory experience: Y7 X$ }) D: y) C
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
9 Z) f8 I+ B- r; ]$ }Must be computer literate
S. x, w, W' ]Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.0 u' v" P6 m& j7 g# s2 w7 Z- w
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
8 C5 o2 R- E T3 p3 _% ]8 y4 AMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 K% ~$ s' w7 g& ?) y& U
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ |/ q5 Z% A% I' V9 g# e, u( _
