Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team1 @7 Z' L- I" G K8 t
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal7 z) G, C& l2 s7 W
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).4 @: A! w; N9 ^8 T/ z6 P* o& {

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 l" a1 N) w8 A2 N }) N

. G: Z9 q& R! N5 h! z2 ~Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! m& o, B0 h& ]9 X6 I
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
& O9 ?/ `6 i6 E4 E0 Y2 z z8 y9 B- D& @School)9 p0 A2 i0 d$ T1 v
Must have supervisory experience3 v2 h' F$ q: |( g- H+ G
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system) r1 q( ]$ R$ }; I
Must be computer literate: H3 t" q+ b2 T$ g# [& R
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
( x' C6 R* Y0 u" W- M$ nMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network0 w: k7 A$ F- Q* m% M
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills8 m$ C; g8 X1 R
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already

Wages according to qualification and experience
