Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

K- M; o6 ?$ d+ wTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
6 m2 M/ a' p; F$ NMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
+ I( O4 R( M" |8 q( NMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
School)
) j6 U  ^* t: u+ A4 |( WMust have supervisory experience
% v* ~& s  `6 P# [% B1 a  z3 _Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
- O1 h( h& u5 i: N7 i- V( LMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
; e, O0 ^6 D% i/ Sestablish team.
