Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
$ }( ~2 V2 p/ Cplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
& u0 c$ ]6 l# e9 S: q: j9 z- bMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).( E; }; F" b2 H3 \. h& x+ w, s
: {6 K8 z# Z DTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: n( N# a: b$ v3 S/ q+ x
5 h" v8 L+ ^6 b- LJob Qualification
' n: ?: \; v2 L# T! I0 F7 N# y" ?Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! J& A& o! E! ]% MMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s* Y2 S' y' f' v- \
School)
6 c# r! D3 e7 N8 ~! d, aMust have supervisory experience
/ Z& Z# U5 N% i; ]; ~Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
0 K! G6 O0 x( v( J7 t1 X% WMust be computer literate
- @. Q" D1 f9 m8 MMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
: R2 h4 S) G( U0 q5 L: Z( W: ^* z' TMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
8 N7 l0 z' W2 F$ dMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills. u! m1 u$ W; [2 f
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
