Position Summary
" Z) N9 t3 ^1 z! X7 HUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team% J6 \- |# O% R+ q! I4 K
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal J8 L! M% T6 C; T) V5 z- Q' ?$ X3 P
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: A# ]6 ^# b) R6 ^& p
8 O/ }! u4 F: s/ q- z: KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.& e% S% k3 e, Y( E+ O

Job Qualification9 t8 C: _/ m5 a: `8 G# V/ c0 I5 S
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services5 M B- a+ P9 C, S& U
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s; W d# h' C6 u
School)1 j- d0 |7 {& v( }: S
Must have supervisory experience
. V h+ d! r% | v+ ]% `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system4 D7 z8 p3 A0 I) m3 m
Must be computer literate5 T- u6 H) ?! P4 e
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
) p, O( M$ @$ x/ D4 B# nMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
2 g5 t4 f4 i* y' k8 r* E. r& [% TMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills4 c4 U O- B: n/ R; z+ {8 w
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already0 C. ]1 i- b+ R& K; D( u" p
