Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team! t; G' T' u. @/ m% P$ l
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal( b0 Y% a3 ~8 r$ q1 L
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).0 _( s$ `* d6 A& q+ C1 `
; S# f/ a- Y' e) e( I0 S' M* l
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification0 i- U2 H) J0 D3 r' a: N) L
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
8 [6 }" u5 J1 s; V& D4 T5 }Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 p5 X6 o; }- [* {# L8 F
School). t8 B6 e$ g( V( ?1 t' y4 r9 `
Must have supervisory experience
% K9 A R; c- U$ l/ Q6 m) t5 hMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: c6 b% P) j# B0 T8 S5 o- M1 g
Must be computer literate9 w" Q! d: P1 y" X" j( }
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 b4 S5 R2 }( Y1 |. m* Z; _! B
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
& c) ]3 D3 J+ `Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills; O2 s1 Q- l% {
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already+ e- `1 F; V3 H2 l: L& Q
