Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
J: m$ m0 g0 E7 }$ h; Z: `Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 a0 b3 D' P4 h$ p/ u; ~
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal9 \& w7 C5 j' K+ E
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).' W- S4 j; ` l9 ?: y. e3 F! x; ~
7 b: ^( x7 L% G& C& ?2 T# O# k
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

/ F3 L2 G1 z1 T9 hJob Qualification
& Y% Y8 z. T0 p+ S8 K2 \( q% WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services0 v& K- A1 Q: S& h% A" U# c
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
; F$ \8 U4 K9 r* u0 ?5 V- e9 vSchool)
# @& }) s2 W0 u. h) B- O& D( ~# fMust have supervisory experience5 m9 c4 K& W9 U& I9 H
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
3 ?$ E+ S* l& C) j7 B$ nMust be computer literate
9 Z3 ~% W4 w( @( Y* QMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.3 f& j- z$ M( Q3 k/ b
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* O! ?$ V% o2 t& j6 U U
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
$ U, j( ^8 E/ T( z6 e/ e" U2 h( Q% QMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
