Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
- s5 I* N! B C% H1 l8 R9 \Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team8 Y/ v4 }9 @& w' i7 w! d" o7 }
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal/ G, A O7 Q. O4 ]- L6 _
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).& k1 A: F# f& O4 V+ D. Z
' }/ Y; _+ V/ h* }1 m8 s% P
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 C5 o! C( q2 \, J
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
Z4 ]7 M7 W- y' [5 [2 JSchool)
% d7 L4 C! I! G3 X, z dMust have supervisory experience/ c) o6 p0 u; q7 R" X/ F
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
; ~6 T- }, k3 g* m4 F! [Must be computer literate
3 J' u) T% \0 UMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! R" T% u# P9 y, P! h) P8 z `' Z+ JMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
0 y+ r, D& w9 J7 GMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ S2 X0 r5 @% l0 K! c C$ O! l( i: c
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
