Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
( R1 W w/ O5 ]8 R1 N* s$ Q# vplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal9 v* i) y& g/ }; |
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).) H; _. B! F0 \ [2 y0 H" m! B6 O
/ [0 O0 Q! l+ N+ y9 @) B) }7 }To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.- L2 n% k5 s! " l6 v$ M1 b2 f5 [( `# g0 CMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
8 K6 `: a2 y; t9 I7 j- F, mMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
) j7 B; k2 V% i6 L' @' v* sSchool). y' k2 x( w' _) [2 P
Must have supervisory experience4 J: N: o6 B$ d! {1 G( V" A0 f& Z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system$ `+ A0 N$ v" X8 |% `/ {
Must be computer literate. S: b- L" |* z1 s+ } o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract./ o. q; E9 C+ u
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
