Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
% l% y( ]% z' ^5 M% v- z8 {Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
7 b T* Q0 r" S6 d0 @- Q7 Tplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 `% m; D5 e1 L3 n; b# CMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 f1 ?& a8 v L# l+ B7 x) B% [7 ^
! e {9 a/ {; C9 _& ]- K/ zTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.( n# w. z) J2 |% q6 T- X' |

Job Qualification
. y: ?1 ~& {1 |) I* YMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
+ A" Q* Q1 O7 O3 m. Z& J' bMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
" L9 C3 F/ }! |3 n# }School)
1 T( d; p* y YMust have supervisory experience
# a3 Z7 L' V2 |Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system% m: ~' G4 B, ? _" ^$ S8 N
Must be computer literate# b6 V7 _' f" r7 F8 g7 B; c
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.; |2 t" ^+ p @1 p% N- I
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
7 E- a9 L) m/ w7 {, WMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
. @, {+ Q4 `6 H( r# n% IMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
