Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
7 H/ A8 t) f8 t6 jUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
# W1 j4 i! s8 ?2 G3 i7 `; q/ P- j: Uplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal# L! i8 d4 d% E8 f
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; W% A8 L% z$ d$ ^7 m6 E. [1 M
! l1 h" J5 _! o
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.2 {1 I) V5 L9 f5 G# ~5 J

Job Qualification t2 Y, ]% N/ g# N% `
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
" f. `0 M+ u7 Y! x0 R6 MMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s; p+ L" f6 _* g" C" K6 _
School)2 t- f" h `6 a( v3 X
Must have supervisory experience7 G1 \ z% `9 R7 }) c! X3 w; H
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% h- E4 a) l0 d4 RMust be computer literate
( h3 A2 H _, JMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
7 I+ s/ v, q% y) x1 {; _) xMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network) C0 ^- M R% G
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills8 z- c& l9 |! {" M6 z# h. R& |
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already# ]1 W1 u5 L$ F& i; [. C7 M
