Position Summary
# N# ?' a8 F. bUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team: A$ V, g: D1 F9 ^1 t$ S5 ^
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
0 N- M+ C* U0 F6 e; ^* t+ X$ q, @Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

+ h. `( s6 G3 |To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

& L9 t& P4 c* y1 m CJob Qualification
4 M" f6 l2 l C4 Z2 Q/ CMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% ^+ a& r5 e& O% _$ P) s
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s+ _5 @& \" |* T( l7 {- {
School)# z, ?5 n S( p4 r) q
Must have supervisory experience
' [4 O" X* a: ^! ]1 v5 @Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
: ^5 j* V+ S; CMust be computer literate1 |! j: B' K) C/ E% p6 I5 ?, w/ c
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
3 r, N( _! d% v3 _1 b. S, ~ f8 BMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
+ @& Q3 W' s) p8 xMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& [! x* \ {5 pMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
