Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
$ _6 L( F- j7 d/ C! yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
I, {/ ], D3 W* WMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).1 w) d8 w* ~9 ]* h# l
% {2 M7 h+ Y* Z6 A$ `: KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 l4 J! Z' ~! c( Z }; @) H' c

Job Qualification
7 P! ^1 Q7 ~" Z" WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
" M* E' C1 m, Z8 U& R% I) zMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
6 ]7 _; A2 v7 Q& c4 CSchool) {: f2 [7 S' e+ V
Must have supervisory experience- Q' U* m3 f3 B0 C
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
( X, V: }! r$ m1 i. ]Must be computer literate5 x8 r& p- r* o. p2 F
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.; [! s& ? x7 a) P; }
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network- r) f: J$ g2 _
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills/ N9 c9 \) A6 z- v: {
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
