Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
( t. Q7 c0 R0 L, Vplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal& N/ b; l8 r3 N( G) q+ ~# j
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP). r4 K) u0 v8 w
4 G; d; X+ h- x& }% k% j6 `To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.$ P5 t: r' v9 L q7 b

: {' x v) E5 f+ X- d( tMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services q9 b% K% p6 D9 S% R
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 ^) i$ b" \& a/ `$ m
School)4 D9 r Z0 F: r9 z, w! |
Must have supervisory experience
' @' n; C% o+ |4 e! WMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
/ j& u; u. H5 N( j' jMust be computer literate
# ]! H0 q9 b) ?Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
& D6 |6 e( g% B- ]7 C! c- ?9 EMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network" z! N- K$ {2 C% ?2 |
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
