Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team- @# ?; J+ l* F m! F
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
! r) y& v$ P; FMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
; ?& ^* S9 d. o
& ^- j+ n3 V$ Q$ { ^To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.3 O" s, e+ B3 a! ]2 ]5 ]1 k1 c

Job Qualification
% f% u8 M0 h/ h. F& |2 n! R; v- SMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
, S& V4 \! m& zMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
2 u. _1 \/ t! B* hSchool)
W! Y' f2 D& e2 E! M- \Must have supervisory experience
2 N( j. F& t4 RMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
3 l' R6 q8 ]: j* V$ NMust be computer literate& {. u' ]5 h) L" Y1 e
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.2 W6 U$ S1 I7 _( M/ M
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
- W. V: u8 ]! ]4 E3 E8 [6 Q6 ~Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
" r" r: L0 Z" R; BMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already/ d5 `% L* i2 Z9 f# L) H
