Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
3 Z& D1 o1 V( f: D4 i. J+ pplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal9 h9 i& ^& o: w
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).% ]5 l- \7 i4 ]% w
/ X4 X, b1 s+ H7 I2 m
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.0 U) h# o3 s2 a

Job Qualification
& g; o$ `4 t7 zMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services4 P3 F! s& ~& L }
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s6 L' n" l6 z" l) ^% |& |. n1 Z
School)
4 O& k4 z9 ?; M* |Must have supervisory experience# R4 w# Y1 b7 s7 w
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% F) L( i* x& m: y+ p4 `! V2 I9 `7 sMust be computer literate
0 _- M, V6 W' G! i" C9 VMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.% e& _) I1 ^! b% ^3 B$ h# J
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 t1 D0 `) S, e) \4 ~* w
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills# K% ~ o4 P4 j) b0 c$ J: t
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
H9 x+ @# c( q! `, Oestablish team.
