Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
% e! C( b/ X/ M- Z1 K dplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
" ~- j+ C7 n. r3 b& ]! r; JMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) X* w" w: q; S+ \$ \5 ^/ N
% p6 D( I3 K+ K& m7 X: WTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services1 o/ F1 @! E0 j4 g
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
8 R" k7 W1 q& X" K/ o& Z8 F& r5 pSchool)! J4 I' E9 A3 @) d/ d) W
Must have supervisory experience8 `% ]4 S2 e2 u6 `/ E7 A! h7 h) {
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
+ X- M2 o% f; `! x+ @( P- UMust be computer literate7 l: O1 }1 ^8 `1 b: T
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.( X) P4 d b8 B" R, ~$ ]5 w' I; l0 A- A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
* g) K3 N8 _1 c' MMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
6 Q# _) p& a$ o/ G0 Y0 n; GMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already" ?6 [$ X$ a' u' Q
