Position Summary
5 V4 [& m# Y8 MUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team- i5 F P5 b1 L, |
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 {; ?% n, r+ G0 U' D; M3 P$ @* {Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 x/ d U; L ]7 R
' \, Q6 T. ]8 BTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." n) j. Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
4 ^9 r; E; L$ T5 b) t LMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
8 M# n. ?$ F8 T! k2 PSchool)
9 X# }1 `2 C* T) W/ ?2 ]Must have supervisory experience
9 ~- }* s. m! D0 h Q! `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system w' Z- k: _! a8 s
Must be computer literate
& E8 u. g) I- Q2 p4 cMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
6 h2 t( e" q8 z; J* g1 cMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 o; A$ Y1 e* V, J- v0 U, }
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
