Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
4 }& D. U/ n5 h h# qUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
, M, V0 y9 q: l" o3 M6 @9 Oplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
+ N- @/ B O8 v3 w' I# G+ ?' g7 q$ RMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).- v4 ]- F- h- S
+ L* B, T* |$ c5 w1 R! BTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.- n0 J$ Q+ O. A8 J* k, V
/ v! J6 h- N; j& I" @Job Qualification
U2 Y: b3 X# `2 i9 L( q6 lMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
; ~; S% ?" p; H& r/ h0 pMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s4 l; `% U& E9 e' E) R. S
School)
3 w% H/ c& H4 ~: RMust have supervisory experience
. ?4 }6 q5 j/ L3 RMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% C8 A5 p1 k9 v6 x" a4 s) V. J1 ^5 GMust be computer literate
/ |" Z$ s% E8 kMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 }+ M- U9 O; L: z$ y% k* S7 a
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) M- B; {( c4 O# W: N; i VMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
0 A3 `# u5 P8 c. d: z7 u& CMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
