Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
: P5 o$ T2 \( R& [8 @, B) B+ BUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

/ d: a7 ]& h6 A2 s$ @; O& x8 E/ y! r2 sTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

8 S2 y1 n* w% J4 g: Z  aMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
% y; n: Z$ x* \  h' _# @0 T( qMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
- s' k/ R% [+ N& w$ N+ SSchool)
Must have supervisory experience
& i  E: |- v& g8 ?; s& HMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
: i7 C' T7 d3 J$ |! n! A, \Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
! m  {2 `" n. A4 P0 j7 r# x" aMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
0 Z0 Y" D, a5 D: |9 T+ eMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
establish team.
