Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team5 i W. q T/ a1 }/ _- [( P( P
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal: V) j* y3 x3 t$ ~6 K, A# s; v
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
" z* V7 h( f/ m a5 D( |' \6 @" [* w
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 B, P( v% ^# |

Job Qualification
- W$ D8 x+ ?* {, \Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% I+ ^4 w8 |8 d* K4 a5 F
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
0 l* x8 p9 u' DSchool)3 @$ i( o; F: Q5 B3 G
Must have supervisory experience
# l, T& Z% I0 `Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system. ]' [* o% `; S# O0 D
Must be computer literate
* }* a# B1 |1 W) pMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 P* D2 E8 }& a* M8 L
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
: O9 F1 Y" i2 XMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& g0 E! x3 S; n. SMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
