Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
q" E ^- w% j, ] a: Z6 |! nUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team/ T, X, p8 q/ T2 X
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ w: B# p% B2 ^/ q+ aMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).& G; u- M7 r8 i* y6 ]/ C
! N0 v( _: E$ V3 B+ Y E3 f% Q) VTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.9 I# Q1 ^( e+ Y5 ]

% H! ]0 }$ r* M/ A( hMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
J% o& ^" V5 u$ s0 UMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s+ ~. w$ k# [: S, g9 O; D4 ~4 j
School)
p& f" t, K4 ]4 O' u: GMust have supervisory experience
: n4 R1 {7 b; [Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system) A, m3 n* e8 t! b
Must be computer literate) F2 {8 Z3 L' f- L# I
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.0 C9 C9 j6 |" m7 _0 ]" C
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
* D$ O2 |; e, [0 ^Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills( R" { w% i: U! ?5 c3 i
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already1 I5 |, e A0 K/ B, @% a/ X; B
