Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
8 f, D6 E; |! C9 Pplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal# q0 Q, V. |- p. i
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ \# g6 p1 c; K' O0 j4 I* m
( Q+ j& _7 ?3 c) R4 Q- IJob Qualification
: L+ _1 J/ M k- M; Z- r9 }! wMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services+ I& r; Z( Q* h/ _" G7 p+ N
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
K" V5 b6 d. W1 r3 PSchool)
/ j( e% m0 q( _7 B, N( C- TMust have supervisory experience o$ o, a: x4 g" m, [, I7 ^
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system6 u! C3 ]. x D( s8 E
Must be computer literate
7 h g9 ?# v' e+ j; h- W& VMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.8 U# O U9 s! `- m6 y8 _
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network- z$ }# v! ~. o8 F, s" a7 v9 F
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills, N( [- K1 J) o
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already3 ]2 q, m2 l, Q, ?$ s; g5 p7 i; b
