Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team0 u& F9 X& D+ c
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 M- \3 m( ^% Q4 lMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 |1 `# F( p8 P/ l, g
# L1 o) A+ r3 [. l7 L4 E8 RTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.4 x) ^9 j- D/ C, U( @

Job Qualification' K9 k# k( T. F) t5 ?
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services' J- @8 A- ]/ h+ a! P
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s, }4 b. c. w I2 f
School)
) e" O' S0 m5 [ Y/ \Must have supervisory experience, x& B' _: X1 W1 l" Z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
- H3 _% x, J F! @7 h3 @Must be computer literate2 S" l0 w) v6 M* `
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.; u, s: R% q! R) N$ H, @( m7 c
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
( {, U! Q' j) t+ X# g9 [3 Y: n* B; dMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills/ ~ k" `- h' h3 A+ W
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already( j" a- d2 }" A- M G
establish team.
