Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team; z0 o, U3 B0 D; I
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 i6 M. Y2 \$ U9 e- HMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).0 X2 D+ Y1 C; j! }& l
" N1 w% w2 _. q7 X; s& r' uTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." Job Qualification8 c! p, E; r% J# k. K; L
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
6 t4 U! t+ v' }2 pMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 ]8 l2 l& k6 m0 Q/ Z3 a
School). L) E/ x1 e w1 F$ v
Must have supervisory experience" ?* J. O* T# t, P% d9 S& Z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# ?% j! F$ K X+ T) n2 dMust be computer literate
$ _& R$ o/ x2 B- ]7 M$ sMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract., T+ L* a3 j8 M& T% j
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
6 p& D0 r3 }6 G# c' \( k1 jMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
, W8 N% l$ n0 sMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
