Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team a6 `3 H. S! V7 A
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
+ A9 |' n1 P4 l; j" p, }. nMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).- u7 Y5 _% w% h. V: X

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
0 \! u/ e1 j- |. {( L. y4 MMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! Q6 q8 ]. }1 A7 R i. aMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s% E7 M" a# ^: }% O: A+ @
School)7 J3 b& R7 O2 _$ G* ~
Must have supervisory experience
/ K/ D7 l- {# b0 hMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
! m+ t( c/ F8 Y0 w. `6 ]2 u! [Must be computer literate
0 V* I# D2 D Y* \6 {0 ]' L! qMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- d( E0 e$ j+ y+ A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
7 _# K# D9 l2 Z( B4 ZMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
