Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
. ?' @' B+ E. d, Zplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
6 s7 `: t/ }$ f0 w) ~Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
+ ]. S9 Q* T) a( y; g9 G/ ^
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

& r' |5 o! Y# x, D5 Q6 VMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: f1 P2 T0 s. B- ]: |% [& fMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
0 D; Z- Y" _2 Y* T9 c: @School)
Must have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
* E4 Y4 {/ d% `, QMust be computer literate
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 w5 o' f6 ^( j5 ^1 ]1 V5 KMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
5 H$ b! i5 q5 s& pMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
. w! R) p) [1 ]& [- ^$ Q# G: @Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
