Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
+ Z8 [9 y8 p8 c M) V% uplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
, m# P+ G0 O' XMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).1 _, ~" V6 ~# {9 P5 G! j+ c
2 ?9 w9 H% w5 Q* p6 vTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.1 s) q. Job Qualification
; e9 {2 R- \8 F- |Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
8 l/ N& s3 ? H% d: G8 U8 [Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s+ n: y, c2 q7 g4 T" _ y' _; X+ `
School)$ J: G/ }/ g4 j+ I G8 s5 }
Must have supervisory experience
. @( l, Y! q) sMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system/ f$ u4 `* C6 {. Y0 p
Must be computer literate
2 X% U. [' K! ^( l1 UMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
c% k, q+ Z' U8 ?+ jMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
7 q& H& P* q2 F# ^# I( i3 ?Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills6 }; x. c. B `0 s$ B# N
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already a+ e- o D+ u6 R
establish team.
