Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
' B/ Z( _. j! q4 C8 e5 K @player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
# q3 }! I! z b/ p& jMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 y4 o: d, j" E, E) h" F

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit./ `/ ~( N# d( u7 }

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services: w8 B2 H8 r; O) M+ x) _
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
r9 ]* X" S; R( @School)
) U0 [- C; \5 n$ }; Y6 }Must have supervisory experience
4 q7 ?' b$ k* Z+ T+ |, G* e" O4 q' VMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system% n. ?: u3 y, O) t; I/ K
Must be computer literate% }; i3 \7 _$ ^: {+ I
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.2 N4 K; a# T6 ~% D4 Y0 H
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
& C) {* k- }0 i. s: DMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
) ~: J: G+ Q/ T, o) u2 R* w1 iMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already1 \; @1 w* ?' e8 C F
