Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
; q/ Y. D0 Q6 D/ y' ~' nUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
1 \' v8 U3 O* n# D9 W7 y3 Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
! }7 S4 M( L9 F( m3 r9 sMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
. F9 [. x, Z5 d. s% u0 ^9 r7 D
. }2 o* F2 F5 ~- n  D) sTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
5 R" {' n) l/ X+ m$ _) LMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
8 B' D% p6 o5 m% X. QMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
" [( I7 f$ f9 U' g7 D. c& e' xSchool)
0 f3 i7 P( c7 }Must have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% _/ z3 y8 ^( O: F6 ~* j  D& f; ~Must be computer literate
3 B, W' X; k- ~Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
6 f- T- h5 w. P# I8 TMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
establish team.
