Position Summary

player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal# U ?% B- i6 [$ W2 ?
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

( u8 @9 \* B* ]0 X8 hTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.4 w1 S$ ~/ Q1 W

5 ], b, e+ P8 f: D7 `% GMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! c5 ~" ]' {4 j( {9 V) _9 ]Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
; j! C) S0 T% i/ Y( ^School); ~# t! D5 {0 O' Y( {, q$ P
Must have supervisory experience, E) V/ g2 e. N7 q! w. m
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system/ U8 i' ~! K$ H* r; }: A
Must be computer literate
7 A y( s9 q' v3 A% O) @% m" m1 ZMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.+ b+ i% G1 ?2 a/ W
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
. N* o; s6 U6 X3 cMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
