Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

D6 F6 r2 T4 D" \To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

; t* T6 o' b. A  s; F1 G* gMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
School)
! X- W/ q  \% T  l: Y. f9 R4 {Must have supervisory experience
5 K: d+ T) ~9 A  K+ y4 SMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
9 ~. r+ A7 [7 `3 x' |Must be computer literate
6 a) f$ q  z) Y& ]7 F% nMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
