Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
/ Z' \, y; Z ? }, b. ]Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team' H: O% T$ ?# ?" |7 z9 ^3 M m
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 F) i/ Q0 b4 AMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
! K# U. e+ R6 R6 d+ _1 K. S/ a+ s- D& O/ ~7 v0 H
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
4 R- d8 R, g' p* _& t7 WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 P* N' E. i5 n2 W c- Z0 d
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s" R3 J2 @- I7 ]; W( C0 |
School)
7 J' Y- N) p, T3 \- s0 XMust have supervisory experience+ T$ `/ R4 ]1 P8 {* ^* M) s, u
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
+ J7 l4 |) z0 X/ xMust be computer literate
2 I1 \8 L' M8 m7 k" M2 ~0 hMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- R( H/ K4 n" s9 g! d2 {9 r+ C$ Q
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, c- o2 ]+ M ~, R- }
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 q4 W) P5 t% s2 T! f5 j1 Z
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
% {; Q, J' g- F& westablish team.! [1 C5 y( L3 c& Y& [2 S2 P, [4 a O
