Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
; Y. O8 w4 W8 ?/ q6 h# J* i4 Nplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
5 W6 p3 P; m2 E8 tMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
# H# }, m! U* M7 }9 U/ s$ y) ~" Z; k; ]4 g' n0 {* i
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.- P9 g5 i6 I" u+ K6 ]3 _% J! ~7 r5 c

Job Qualification3 Y+ }' {3 x# Q
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services$ \. {. {: C2 S; n) i* Z, X. D
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) P* v1 [- g9 w% |4 Y5 c# B; P
School)* `( X; F6 W9 a+ q
Must have supervisory experience
7 j6 C* Y' f7 {, g! VMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system! g" r) _# A" t3 @( o
Must be computer literate, E" l% I3 c4 }( @% P/ O& K
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 c7 O4 t! H( u: I. g# DMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network! d. D" A" [7 w2 _
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills+ s* q* {$ U5 Q3 e; {/ C! X
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
8 V- a% N( O5 k6 L+ Pestablish team.$ P' M8 F8 o3 e) |: R9 o( {
