Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. ; a3 d# E/ j+ e! P0 ?& dUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
, F5 D, a3 ]3 G' splayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
. N+ E$ \9 L! D' c+ oMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: q: S& U8 E/ f2 i. o6 w; U9 D. G

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: \6 m) @+ { \- {5 i
1 q1 V% K/ x0 z* d2 pJob Qualification) Z$ o# L- h$ n# C$ T
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
) b1 |! j# G0 ]# TMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s- O, h/ \9 P: @( r
School)
4 v3 j# y- [3 L6 H' R; eMust have supervisory experience# N) t' A4 C% G3 c
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system; V C( N3 N; X7 P$ ]
Must be computer literate
+ r0 R5 N2 i3 O" Z) y4 SMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
0 E7 p/ ? R0 c' x% n1 G' }Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
+ Z* ` L, M( w! {2 V) a7 HMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
