Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
+ |- \" S( n; b9 j" WUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team( z( \+ ]5 V& O
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal- D$ `9 |9 r" A+ M& ?" r
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).# M; m$ L: u4 c- G
% \# k+ F5 V1 y+ \8 QTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
' J& `% b# k6 p, mMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services7 R; r6 ?0 X# R
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
. {. b" A$ v* m4 Y; MSchool)% [! t( l3 W; F6 Q- k$ U" g8 j
Must have supervisory experience% Q! W) m1 T- f- D& D: i2 ^
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, e, |9 Q5 Y- q7 n9 r; bMust be computer literate4 ]4 }: u1 m7 P# S
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.$ ~; L* u; r* u; ~' R
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network# h2 r; {$ E# e4 `, P# P1 T4 v
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
7 X- ]/ L+ l- sMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already/ M/ s& H* H* I
establish team.
