Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
& x. v5 W! g- e; _* V6 _$ H$ aplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ n6 Z, t7 q5 h% wMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
# l7 N' a( f" H+ L: G) q# \9 U* k
% w" v( g# x( M3 L: @7 r1 PTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

9 n7 f# [8 y6 QJob Qualification
; f8 I/ q3 l$ L8 {Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 |9 ?, Y% c8 p' d5 bMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
- u) h* A5 f2 p! P# ySchool)
  \  q1 |" M3 h7 ^, TMust have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
* W" E0 y% N# U  S  LMust be computer literate
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! M; `) X$ n* j$ v/ S# jMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
+ p4 e3 G" z# B+ O. m& _establish team.
