Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
/ y; Q1 }, t+ _% N! c8 w; KUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
7 N6 k0 `) k, u9 V5 Bplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal( n5 e- q4 B! c
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
& m5 U3 |! k$ c0 R5 H
$ y2 B: {2 N; @8 I. PTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

# D& u2 a- ^1 P. E: Z+ WMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
* c7 B8 t6 C' u: B. N5 l7 sMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s* { F/ @% Z* c7 Q: L% a4 @$ I
School)) h9 m: h3 i; D; V$ R! D
Must have supervisory experience8 m6 }. Y# {: s4 T. d# m6 }4 ^
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system& T2 N6 N( n4 l! [
Must be computer literate! @% Q+ e; |8 y9 p1 O0 Z
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.. [2 t3 T& l4 V4 D
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
9 n% @2 Y$ Q; ]% w' GMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills, t! W5 E* k7 J! L" d, ^
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% K6 o4 N7 P/ y: r. s+ x( j
