Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
6 Y$ [2 P, D s; hplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal3 i7 Z; r7 t$ s+ I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).8 h) K, ]# A8 Y% J; ?

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." 4 b' a* G1 o; c" w, H) ~Job Qualification
% R' }* {# `# K+ Q6 N' J, mMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services1 M9 P" s- n' O% O! s/ M1 R
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s3 d" c, U6 u5 _( N& A- I; W& a% e
School)5 y: U$ Z q3 D) o! W' e g
Must have supervisory experience
, B, H, n' S; | ^& A/ {/ TMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 x& `2 D1 u0 GMust be computer literate$ w2 y+ G4 X$ @; r/ ~
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ c9 W" M1 a& {Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* m- Z% K3 F5 L% s6 S4 @- Q& q
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
9 W5 @& \) I/ u. F& ZMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
7 H1 j& S' F1 U2 oestablish team.
