Position Summary
; d7 U* [1 `- D* A5 R3 JUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
' c/ d8 f/ }0 n5 O0 G% s o6 `- W% Hplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ x H7 Y3 o. x5 HMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).. ~/ y; S; M# }
! ?" L- z6 E' x
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
$ X' j4 w9 q! x7 C0 ?Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services# {4 i9 I3 J' ]6 B; k7 K9 w) H
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s4 ~4 s k, j7 H; F+ {
School); d5 B& s E( U8 `1 t' i# e
Must have supervisory experience) x P6 J0 R3 E1 l/ j& o6 O
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
3 M, j/ C& @0 UMust be computer literate0 H" k S6 ]3 H+ [ z: G8 T
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.% s' g9 u x' V4 L4 h
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
' P+ J- x% o4 g1 pMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ G d# `% k3 z- V
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already, h0 ]: F" r( f5 H
