Position Summary
{, P2 Z1 b; y6 {: ]+ b6 aUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
& Y: r+ g+ Y6 C4 |2 o" ]player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
. Y1 r8 h( o2 ^; | SMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
3 F$ E" O9 k {5 R4 f# r1 v' Z/ g1 o
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

1 i5 z5 u3 E6 o9 D+ s2 I4 QMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
& J, O4 y, u) U- K: \% R: Y1 r qMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
1 c- E( e+ z5 C2 n7 S2 o2 F5 CSchool)
' y' ]3 ?, u* P5 nMust have supervisory experience/ F2 [! w0 v; |3 z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
7 c& i7 H$ \0 J7 a, P: v# R' |Must be computer literate
: C7 q; F7 S! V1 _, c9 I: T6 sMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.4 ~+ a, L+ N6 K& C( I* G
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) S# u6 ^# K* f5 `9 t7 M; W; b% KMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills6 `# @" F, }% m' k# [
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
