Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team3 U! t, r3 }' A* A) T# t" Y/ U# z
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 w9 @: r: J: S; d( U; ZMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 O# H. L/ h8 t% ?( F; ]5 ~1 _( |

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.. a* Z8 h% ]( c$ p! {, q

Job Qualification
3 V# o: O& O5 b- z% B, |- sMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services- a8 n1 Y" g# _! o! y
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
! U- a+ O$ P: H- _- ESchool)
, C4 M) Z+ Y- D/ |* Y: a$ u# T" }2 EMust have supervisory experience5 }7 w% U' N; \, m( g5 n* f
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
! w5 Q; z7 J! O3 x/ B& XMust be computer literate
! v, c5 A* @9 N4 r: k9 WMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ U6 R. j& w5 C% yMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 x+ y4 s8 Y8 B9 K! N9 q i: G
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
+ ^! u% G a0 L XMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ w! W& @& R* m) h P% y4 b! U
establish team.
