Position Summary
7 |2 `# D1 g% b! S# T' oUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team8 U; e8 y* i0 i! ^9 }
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
0 l/ x: r5 c* m' [, E1 tMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
; L2 A, }" K) H) ~' k% A2 l( |9 N3 D- v7 e; w: f
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: v2 D9 S6 V. M
% h: f' j1 H: x y2 Y1 yJob Qualification; G$ F! j4 Y3 n; ] b, a/ e% ?7 Y
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% u6 I+ {' C) \
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s$ F! \8 K2 L9 }, k v% q9 o& M
School)4 s& Y/ X* b% e% ^; {
Must have supervisory experience* q) v, V: \; u( M5 m
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system# p& ]* h3 E9 M, P0 {) V
Must be computer literate
! q: e% E' s8 Y. AMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- I/ L7 m! @( S' O1 [! `
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
' u% T* u N2 gMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
3 V$ i$ u$ @8 [Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
