Position Summary
x7 N9 K* \! P7 \1 Y& ~# _Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
# z1 ~0 i4 _* v( Uplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
q5 T( n% m: O3 \Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
& Y; ?# `8 r: a7 c m* |" T A2 B1 S( z7 y/ R( j3 }& a8 L
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification$ }& b4 p+ f- h4 q! n8 ^) x
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services' i" t; e% ^7 V3 F) I
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 e" x8 O: Z5 s7 [
School)# l2 T) S: {- N8 m
Must have supervisory experience* h$ W9 [' T# N* x
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
0 A1 |' V9 R) y0 ~Must be computer literate/ p% ?/ Q. T9 `* N8 i7 n& Z
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.9 b @$ Y! G" t% |6 r+ V
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, {3 I2 d1 E$ o! R3 J
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills; ~, S7 {1 [8 c9 u5 y. @
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already) T5 Z g* x0 P- X( x3 x
