Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team; M' {' L, Q, E
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
$ A2 k" f- _: z- XMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).) u( e) D0 Y+ |: N. | f4 J. n

U0 p# N& hTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.' Job Qualification1 G2 u* h. n. h( j( Z
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
. c4 {# X7 E9 S! ]: UMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
* x6 ~2 q$ S* T! M; d+ b' o/ USchool)& R7 N: Q$ x% y: {
Must have supervisory experience
6 D. R: D. i3 z0 c3 ~& ?7 RMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
8 x. u7 ^. y2 v# X4 e4 `+ ]Must be computer literate
- ^6 _& k$ N8 G2 ~Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.. ]; H+ y2 J$ I3 h, G, r
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network9 J" U& E( \1 H" A5 w- i2 o# }; W- s
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
' M$ g& T$ V& I; ]- \Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already+ h) h% ]1 O6 l7 [! I
