Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team7 O/ H% _# y" v
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
, _7 u2 ?# o5 Y* a' K( vMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).5 Q1 F0 N8 Y7 k0 D5 x6 }
( v6 v; a6 u/ k& v4 J) v4 \To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
9 H) w1 a8 m. g# l; k7 C9 vMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s$ I1 h, S/ l N# s E
School)% T5 k& g8 B3 @8 K$ N
Must have supervisory experience# S& M' g5 \# l8 K7 c u' f7 E
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system6 j, P( R$ C8 P0 ^& M# Y
Must be computer literate
" w7 I% {! E) G, D: BMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.* a; f) |& J6 B+ P
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network7 M5 |/ G3 X, d( Q3 ~; v" v m
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills) X2 M( T4 ~5 d. y4 g2 x! S" j7 i
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
