Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team( g8 g. H4 V& s2 P; k4 t* C8 \
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
( u: X# P0 v1 j: M% GMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).3 a7 m9 I" W: V' a; Y- M' z8 L
1 ]; q* `8 {9 X9 b1 E
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.# i/ F6 n! }6 ?& F8 t& G( j4 K

Job Qualification
( y; G$ w, h0 G$ D% M$ y. nMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services+ ~- Y! S: ?# A
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s% A4 |& C8 \+ }) `7 k6 C* ?9 y. `
School)
6 r& e" Y0 }) n8 i1 _ XMust have supervisory experience
! L3 H3 M* \! {5 YMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system- Q: z' A' _( ~' j( W" l* W
Must be computer literate
: n' a) D! I5 i. H; ^& {6 NMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
4 b* O8 n3 t$ M6 C: h/ K. Y8 wMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
# d) a- {0 r5 {& c& {Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills; W7 C# ?1 B& X% ^. {' N
