Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team4 a6 D! I& ?/ ^0 B3 ?; [ u; u
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal, |' G7 l/ |8 j) V- A- q
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).* R8 w; k, o+ b' B
' j# Y" a( T! z0 ?% _4 mTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification; W: }! a% N0 \1 z: t6 p: M
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services2 @; f# V) ?' E5 ]( ?2 A$ m
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s3 m1 v" D. s& D9 K
School)/ r/ v. f1 V; A
Must have supervisory experience
~3 N U1 U% X+ C, BMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system8 m& q9 Z- g) D, u. q
Must be computer literate: }% J: y* A* b1 A
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.+ m/ p* `6 o a- Z5 `2 z6 S4 Y2 K5 p
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 h" h8 Z1 c. |) ?; Z8 F
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
0 H" E; }* i4 N0 JMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already! X- ~ t0 f* N
establish team.
