Position Summary
* }# m A5 S/ i1 m& R2 wUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
5 b J2 |5 y4 i& lplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal: j" y. F$ E3 _7 J
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP)., n! o! L k# `1 [1 o
9 v. D3 c# W6 Z8 w9 \" [( ]To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 M( |8 {0 l/ \& J
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 Y% S4 B2 A8 z2 k6 USchool)& ]" I* Y" A# }
Must have supervisory experience. p7 p e% j( p" Y9 D
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
1 k4 V% I& F9 H+ dMust be computer literate
4 E s2 b: S- @! d8 R4 x# lMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
7 O' |6 J0 z/ f i7 P+ V, SMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network& r& C$ g: D! K
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
