Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
/ O6 O& A2 W( }" ~+ t8 Tplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 Q- k. h- i) B7 `/ ^7 D. l* U
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
$ j: w$ u, h/ K! G. c; a" |# z. N8 k9 R# o" m# n- A/ d2 ?
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 X1 _ m e3 Y6 D

Job Qualification H$ h6 {* v3 z0 w ^/ |' ~& u3 g6 ]) f
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services* _" p9 x* s( v* v7 J8 H# A
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
1 a( J. R( k% ~3 n+ x4 ]9 X. Y! G" kSchool)
4 i( x8 k [2 e* O. P, S: I7 FMust have supervisory experience: Y( j2 X% E' L* X E4 V1 D+ o. o
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system/ U! t- ]/ K$ y) N9 ?
Must be computer literate
( W, [2 y& j; BMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ @0 s0 { ?* J w) F/ _Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
1 A% g N, c% J" vMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills: ]# |# I( y, t1 [, a% S) l
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already! R4 w1 x- k( ~, q6 g1 E/ U
