Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
% I, M7 `9 z2 B& ^player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal4 q7 k$ [/ _( T
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).) D3 p6 O% |- B- c* y5 H2 Y) H' o
+ ~/ H$ s; o3 F* H% X
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." Job Qualification* D' s. B0 b0 D$ G8 R2 p% A
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
+ j$ l. W' o. b2 p) KMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
+ M4 k* V [# q8 U0 fSchool)
& D% S0 ~! t' _1 Q4 s& Z4 w/ ]Must have supervisory experience" t, ~3 N$ n3 W$ E
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
& F6 y! |' d' `2 a, q0 J3 d rMust be computer literate
6 m; q1 r: J$ W: a9 \' L* eMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
' _6 X0 p0 U( R' o6 e! k, {Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
% y7 |/ _1 b% i+ x- n; gMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills5 s$ y1 r7 w7 t# `/ ~0 p
