Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
' h" B W' s9 l! M0 g: }Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team" }( a! U, {+ w
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
( t" J$ p6 T. {$ H9 Y L) DMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

D' pTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit. f/ k# R3 e4 E A7 A

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
0 m7 u! d1 F$ p+ I+ j, sMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s0 j6 ?* V1 H& z( w4 e- F2 S
School)0 c2 V0 b- x R7 d) J& i; c+ X
Must have supervisory experience4 ^- R$ v3 J# O8 a9 ?9 R
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system, s$ n) C6 }' X5 U$ s! o7 [2 P
Must be computer literate( V# N5 P3 m3 H3 }7 S7 _
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ ~ F1 V: q6 k/ N2 dMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network t1 ?5 F% m2 @7 o6 P
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
0 `% V# V8 m# \7 X7 G: a4 U; CMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already3 ^4 l7 S; {# D4 K$ _
