Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary! A" T: }0 ?0 M6 |- k3 x5 z
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 j0 q+ `% O8 n5 T" V# V, S
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal/ O; k1 C9 N+ O/ i8 n4 S4 C% b
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
" c* q% Q7 m: e M4 L6 Y- N
3 P9 \$ N, D" X7 R% WTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.7 I" O( S2 t6 {3 t3 v. x

Job Qualification4 Z7 L. j% \2 `
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services( C" |; R( ~8 y0 m7 y
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
6 @# N) p/ y0 `' NSchool)6 U. ]1 J4 w. p8 E' W- z, x
Must have supervisory experience: P: l. U1 W r
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
5 m0 j3 p4 f" F3 F$ x. VMust be computer literate
6 P2 V5 t2 ]0 @% pMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
- q& D5 z7 z% q3 s+ B" uMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
. H7 H; K* u [+ q1 ^" ]4 l! y h0 O3 jMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills3 ^" W/ n2 m2 {, H
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
