Position Summary
/ Y+ p% e9 ?& [, R! R- Y6 }* HUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team2 X/ G- v5 f, K# K8 n* ^$ b
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
0 e. T: U; r2 }. h1 |$ H% zMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

/ ^/ G( R* k: _' VTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ j4 u# a" L* N( _- c/ ^

Job Qualification
* h$ H8 _ \( K& FMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services0 h& t. c! ~( S% K
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
' j6 u( B" d& G2 j9 H: r: JSchool)' W* c/ c/ c4 z4 |2 b+ }1 ]8 m( s
Must have supervisory experience
" z6 M# z' L2 w$ x9 CMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system Y. a! V. M& y3 J* _0 w
Must be computer literate
8 O0 ]& j5 E! g6 e+ XMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.9 ?8 R2 }! p4 f& w" q) D
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
0 q" I3 ?% H3 Z, `6 n1 uMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
$ U: o$ D9 I& ]7 J5 _9 I! L) ]Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
