Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
0 r- X0 ~. j7 Q* ]; h2 splayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
, p4 p8 X2 O! U j4 _% ~Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
/ Q5 J+ O' t! p$ B& T4 [! J; c
h' H a, M' S) |6 dTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification r9 C3 P* r0 B, U$ h+ f; l
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
5 t, Y5 F5 ?* ]Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
% h6 G* M# v( G. x7 g5 l* V7 WSchool)) x7 U5 S/ |/ v
Must have supervisory experience; ]5 I: |! C; B T0 q
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
. {/ U, w' w) x4 D# c& z+ v; @" IMust be computer literate
5 q8 y4 c3 c$ @& {; e, R7 n' MMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.# v; M" [( V7 S( `( ]6 K
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
: f3 S$ s, ]& g8 u# b/ e x$ xMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills) P# ~- v( X- ?3 H/ ]# O
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
