Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
3 w+ `! ?. A+ a/ _: L) `player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; W$ ~1 P+ r3 aMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
7 n2 l* N( T# t! j# z) K0 K8 g p. c j
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services: {* H8 s7 W9 e, o( Q, P
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s4 F: ?% M- J. L. _
School)1 t$ G9 P' p3 n6 x) J7 V- m& f
Must have supervisory experience4 G& x5 `- W: l9 s' w: p
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
, _. a" R3 Y2 cMust be computer literate1 u# A/ f: s8 ]+ k0 t
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.2 }% G7 ^/ n: {6 Q1 `0 o
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
/ t0 J, q& m7 {% @. p6 n6 t& PMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
$ @4 t3 A# Q: B6 P+ i- @Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
