Position Summary
+ Z3 v- L, l, X0 ?' O" [6 _- ]Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team H+ K3 u& ]9 b5 v
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal5 u3 c. K+ @; B
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).# D! v0 S! m/ B* A- P; h. ~3 M5 n
$ h7 @' I) Y3 I" OTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
( @) T O& c5 X$ C9 Z/ O% q- K! [/ KMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s

- r& W! d% B9 U% U& V. Y' i4 ?. uMust have supervisory experience+ ?0 u* R0 a W+ ]6 m) k# S
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
% l: d! J; ]$ f* W, ]6 NMust be computer literate" z$ [+ M* t: S6 O
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 m% D5 ]+ {- }" H9 ^8 [' ^: ^% p
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network: ~ X* ^) j, k& E* \4 U$ y4 }
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
* W7 M( U; J" Z0 r$ @/ ?9 O; [Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already! W/ p W. p0 z
