Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
3 k. \" V9 L$ u) ~. l2 I; S1 c9 A6 f9 ~player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
4 ~ H8 c$ v& h2 v* X0 w/ oMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) m1 z, B- w, A( }* D- y% W/ B7 w6 Q$ u" `1 _8 w$ x z
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

3 K5 b4 X6 c' ?6 N, J, YMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
* I3 E1 ~/ p$ E; g$ v8 V* [Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
! x9 M) e; w6 e# DSchool)
( `# l4 L B7 g9 k3 ^Must have supervisory experience
( r5 j# |( I1 VMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system6 U: |( G z' _! Y" V2 |) t! t/ `. y
Must be computer literate2 T; P. F: l) L1 B: X
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
7 C/ e# R6 s) q8 N: kMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
( ? u, f( F7 R aMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& U6 I% w3 H6 G: v, m: hMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already8 Q# m) \" i4 p
