Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
: Q( W: R, q/ }, V+ F1 H6 H. ^6 bplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal! n/ D) z8 [* u, T% u6 P
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
$ {1 O. a7 [: E7 f, U3 N5 G R, g! j) [" t7 h; v! X
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

% c: R+ V e8 \% r( \" @4 Z( _Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
0 ?) X9 R s, _: p; a5 Q) D! s2 J2 ^% OMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s9 H. ~% ?5 r& @) |! r6 U
School)
" {, H, o' v7 H+ v; J- VMust have supervisory experience: M& y# C/ s4 r# v. B \
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
9 V- z7 X# L+ U" b0 G, Z: J; N; GMust be computer literate# s5 c4 u" E6 Q- x
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
. y. W3 \5 k* dMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network

Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
