Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
( u! n# A+ R$ K& aplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
$ I6 ]# ~9 J! B- o+ ^/ E# SMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: `. Y* c! x3 \0 H
8 h \) q6 Q8 N( sTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.( y9 l" T. }2 Q1 x# o9 H8 Y0 [" t3 s

Job Qualification* S& {: J6 L( `! k* T1 ~- d# F7 j
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
, U Q8 w% g; gMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 n8 V* f/ c* L+ C. i$ xSchool)8 ^" Q9 R! _# Y& e* G9 X' y* Y) z7 `
Must have supervisory experience
9 Y: o1 \! s- ?4 x) \' cMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
; U& h' K1 C" `4 j. e9 T+ d6 uMust be computer literate
# P) O/ o+ ]3 W2 ~0 Q1 ~# ZMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.- f. b3 n3 j& [; y8 n# v) Z: l$ Q' j* T
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
