Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
, ]( W9 w5 Q4 p" n- hUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
* ?5 Z l0 W$ ]player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. W; `: h6 F9 v! G- ^9 E( f% Y
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
* \ P, r; t6 L9 C! S3 m. Z: K+ i; ? N$ P$ q: o0 N5 k
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

! M9 e1 l5 w0 ~8 [; P2 m* g xMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
9 ^& g W- u( v8 F2 NMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
1 V$ d% |6 O+ h0 y8 [7 S" `2 z; XSchool)
8 u/ s2 v$ w$ R+ jMust have supervisory experience/ U6 F, ]+ M$ U- u; {
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
) r# X6 I6 E0 N( QMust be computer literate% n2 d! V: x2 Q3 F+ j8 w
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.. e$ l* y, s- j/ A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
5 Y6 d* \3 y- NMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills$ W# f0 l2 T$ ?8 S4 b
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already H& Z$ w' h1 J+ m6 i/ j0 t
