Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 x+ B b9 J( @# g" C
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
3 f( K2 X% o3 n, D' O1 lMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).' m7 S1 u0 v: X

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: [8 U1 a7 f& ^( y" [$ |

- T& ^, S! J, {0 j) e; e* n0 fMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
4 p3 ?( H+ e" v$ FMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
. v8 _% x- c1 tSchool)
& B4 S* s7 w7 R4 \- Y9 fMust have supervisory experience+ B3 X/ q3 p1 z7 x
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system( n1 \% Q8 L* @, m
Must be computer literate8 c- Y' a- Y4 h; K
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract./ c% [; l* Q: ?0 K- ~ b3 e# M
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network( Z/ J( k% b) S
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
! G+ y4 p% ]8 l3 E( oMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% f" e% | r2 F# \/ @9 f4 s" P
