Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
9 e$ u( L: [; Z5 B. ?1 Xplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; U" ?5 {( k6 S/ S/ U5 {+ jMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 L7 ~/ I) S {! W O3 _: h8 _
2 r5 J7 j0 K# \* P# T, u$ T( g
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
! | a0 z; Y( P- pMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s$ U* h- x$ ]2 I5 u& M2 L1 F
School). l5 f& h6 E- q% D
Must have supervisory experience
* s, x9 e& D, o6 G5 y AMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system3 c) B3 W Q# p8 o+ }
Must be computer literate5 k$ x& s6 u+ M5 O* ], O& @
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract. `; H' [7 J' t% G( a. H1 n
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network# ^, r7 B# |# M
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
