Position Summary
, I R0 y) h0 w6 KUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
4 ^ a/ q! [6 Q0 a4 E; bplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal5 p$ a$ m- @% b& f" b4 C
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).5 ?7 s$ N0 ]. ?8 K! m2 \7 u0 n+ ^
" X9 z, Y9 U1 `; Q9 L& F/ p
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

3 [6 }2 B& u T' L5 J- eMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services% X8 ?+ \5 x; ]
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s7 S# z' }+ {0 ~( F6 Y9 m3 T, \7 Y
School)& o2 W9 t* |4 \* S. y6 \% X O- V6 @7 a5 ~, M
Must have supervisory experience
2 q1 k' j: x- i8 U) |Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
/ x8 T Y# }/ N0 N# x7 IMust be computer literate
# |+ m) n+ g. iMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.3 ~: }$ `& q0 v# [" D& j
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) T: b- B; b+ `' r. i: L% }/ tMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
4 W% g' H( Y1 J3 D" C; F5 VMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
