Position Summary
+ N% h, x. T% H: MUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
8 @( Z$ b; o4 x" x$ s! Vplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 j+ D, `3 z; p; x
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

, G; ^, @7 r' F7 n+ K4 J% K$ kTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

. g& t% Q. P2 q/ S9 ^2 `Job Qualification( G( K: F% n% d# t) n+ r7 x
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services9 W( I$ X1 q& H9 b+ N5 g# d( n- M
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s" _# K$ O0 v0 \1 F- p
School)4 `' M" W& i$ U5 V; E$ d
Must have supervisory experience9 f# j( k, E! Q$ H& R
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system7 L/ Y4 N, j. v5 k9 H
Must be computer literate9 E. j5 V# W9 F" b* W. e5 _
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract." k; V! Z( @$ `0 u, h1 A
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network2 K, v( [$ y+ z, n/ b5 s
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills& i1 v& N: ?9 n, M( ^
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
