Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
; P1 c7 i' g5 e( t* GUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" |& t G+ ~ m, v A4 F) wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal5 f3 { Q9 r9 X- }% S' I
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
% H3 r+ y) j' s+ z: p2 x1 r, H2 q8 _
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.* H. z. w0 Y8 w! Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
3 `+ W% v. ~! C' ~Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s& P7 C+ u, S9 _: ~3 B" ?
School) f5 D( J: q( _( z" }& N* t1 ^) i8 I
Must have supervisory experience8 G& T; o0 i0 ~
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system, }' F5 B7 h/ g6 d' o& m6 s1 r
Must be computer literate0 J. D. d! M3 S
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
