Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 0 I/ ~, W5 }7 c2 Y$ \4 E' vUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
$ n: W- U# Y5 e1 Fplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
$ T' k. N) v8 K3 H6 nMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

C; h; R& OTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.; k* S" Q: Y/ }& t6 K

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services5 C. M; o" {. c+ v8 L/ `7 ?7 h
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
# l" A* Q: W/ S; H6 G- `7 I3 |5 O0 A1 MSchool), w1 b" @! v( w
Must have supervisory experience* o2 T) d ]. J
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
( }, [* L: o- r1 t2 G& QMust be computer literate7 I% [' I! Q) W7 D+ r6 S2 G
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.# K1 t+ Q. w$ ]6 ?. I
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
& ^4 q& i( j( o* ]3 ]1 G5 nMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
5 Z& {; u1 K. w3 C1 @, D3 \8 rMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
