Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
1 M7 e$ V8 l, O5 Z9 F: `Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team T( R2 v3 V4 m
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
& X4 M% G) L: i- g9 C/ W sMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) a# V2 z' R* B7 ?: ]
4 m3 _* M7 Z& d+ M. E7 WTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.; k; L a# n3 _8 K% U$ {

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
- W) N5 Q' b, u+ B# p( V [Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
, K* ^' A+ t$ ]- N/ g3 K! tSchool); M4 g2 _4 @2 x# I$ }
Must have supervisory experience
/ S' `- B. h% C$ D; D9 gMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system2 F' X$ u8 D! p5 _
Must be computer literate
: |" x; d+ i6 _9 D7 v* OMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
" _+ T/ E: A4 @+ c$ R2 B, U* r: {1 i7 f: ~Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! ?1 }6 M% w9 P' uMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
