Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 X+ V) r3 o# V( L
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
J6 o9 I% s0 B, t& C: sMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).1 r/ B+ E1 L% g! \1 } W. w# \+ Y2 Q
5 V3 _+ H: E+ i! fTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.4 H6 H8 A) i/ y5 ~/ E% P, z0 X, H* g

Job Qualification1 D# ~& F6 s! |) `( y
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
7 f5 w Y, r3 V% _8 _3 bMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
. Z5 _: I; c9 I4 e$ [" bSchool)
) I. b I) C- T7 e/ VMust have supervisory experience
. _: K* v% l/ w, k, iMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system4 V& P% q8 h$ P7 G$ V
Must be computer literate; i; `, K' J( q* Y) J% V* f$ y
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.5 H5 X0 `1 X3 I/ y. W* j2 Y
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) d- ]8 W$ D) tMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 z' x) n2 I1 D/ S; s
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
