Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team* r/ D7 G) K7 O. n
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal* E, q" Z6 { J& n
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
5 C! E$ i, o5 k. q2 k& r, f% v( S6 n9 m0 W. J) U* u+ A
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

) p) \% y4 c' I! ], }' X; g- zMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
$ [$ _! X/ A6 y4 E. TMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s- ~9 P! U. M* H8 }5 f3 |
School)/ s8 Z% e9 V3 t3 J( A, D
Must have supervisory experience
, c/ |1 W0 {6 z- _( ~Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system& h1 X. s3 S1 u
Must be computer literate! X" Z. ~# E+ I/ ?7 j
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract." n0 Q4 I* F5 H9 `6 B3 ^& |( e
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 w+ e& s8 e# b7 S5 h2 n
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills) J) ?& n( P/ e ^) o
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already) b0 e! T: d9 \( ?* G: T
