Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
# i5 s* q9 g3 H' s6 Z& IUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" U, N% Z- W: V# G, q4 E! s5 |player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
: h/ F$ P5 ~% EMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).- o* H7 S6 z. N5 ?, c
) p( N4 Z* r7 D4 ?8 s6 P1 P; S5 rTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.: s% [7 U, K. m* F9 ^: g" z/ M. W

Job Qualification% C% t5 O3 k1 K' c) l F
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services$ ?9 W" v' o1 K! w8 f* J5 W
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
' w& V/ [5 v+ d' X: _School)
0 U+ M1 d+ R6 m _% j: ]5 E. KMust have supervisory experience
6 l1 b& L4 F% |; C" h9 x& UMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system* u1 T5 J( |, c1 l+ d& g
Must be computer literate
; l# ~! l) U3 g3 uMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.7 H5 G+ _+ O- O. P! d; M7 o
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network: W1 i' F% Y, W0 P) T7 G) n. e
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& g9 ~: v. d- b# AMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already0 o; v( \% ~! @" ?; [; x9 b
