Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 n# O" K& e1 B) y6 p5 a& N
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
- k9 C) l1 u. [3 h9 GMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

2 T, X$ |1 e/ b1 r: x3 _/ n3 e. pTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.' l$ F% }& N/ N

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services. [# [' X6 n% m! @) v
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
9 B) M3 Z( Q9 N( tSchool)
4 M3 d; Z) N' b1 v+ @* BMust have supervisory experience
! r& Y: r; Z0 A: xMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system( R( ^. m6 ?* w4 {" v& t9 }
Must be computer literate) M& G( ^6 \- ^8 w* {2 x% }
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.2 X6 X9 @1 j" i+ m; o
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
+ c0 J2 s( ^/ q5 c W6 i5 p5 yMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills% @& ]0 L, O. i
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already/ c% {9 k- e2 F8 {1 {6 y0 H
