Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
- L3 z; m: J! R1 w8 @* gUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team$ v/ ~9 u& p7 {! \9 j" E; X/ Q5 c9 Q
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal- r4 v$ f3 D$ o$ j. z! t& F9 y
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).% j* B1 y8 H: m6 E: @: x/ Z
. a1 S6 g y' J3 B4 H6 uTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.$ H4 z. @: L n4 T. [$ e% p$ T2 \

Job Qualification
) a& ~3 ?6 {' ?6 iMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services6 s/ }: V6 O# |# x( p
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) I6 Z9 W [+ k p0 d
School)
( o1 W$ ~% Q' Y+ q: c7 ]/ s* r+ fMust have supervisory experience' |. c' r& R G( I6 R$ Z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
8 L* L ~8 f1 z* N, r0 P0 GMust be computer literate2 H% P N" u, U* K' {0 o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.9 C2 F4 D: X$ U+ ^
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network. v4 @) a( U! f% p, J
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills0 t7 Z" _3 B) j3 `' d' z7 `* O
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already) R$ H- {) G! f: u0 c
