Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
" r" C k! a) D$ i' p" P8 I5 H' nplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal2 c; y3 M3 g2 ^
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).3 U. w" o# c' h8 x
: B3 ?- ?" D- h1 ~To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.3 F( h) H& r" I* j0 w
, @2 S8 t; P8 {) n" Z3 v1 `Job Qualification
) e) m: x2 E4 @2 k Y1 j# gMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
9 d( l1 `6 d; @1 u G9 QMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
) H, I/ C& r0 ]0 eSchool)7 A# w7 W: c+ l+ U. T4 a5 D
Must have supervisory experience
3 h/ s+ l0 o d$ {; d w5 k/ gMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system* a: e8 X0 ^" s7 _9 [
Must be computer literate: {% Y0 v, \* q0 \
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
8 J4 S4 X! a9 h! J. _Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
& n0 A2 M/ d8 D( A6 _7 l: ], ?Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 f( T0 ~( z' X7 v
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ c L. e8 M* S( P1 G
