Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
6 N* N; X+ k! W1 m% |# fUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team V/ ]& p1 [. ^' V
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal3 V, F7 F- H/ \* n: K- ?
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
" `0 ]0 i/ j# @1 f! x3 C" a1 K7 i: ^
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

, I( |' R- [, l5 w0 h0 SJob Qualification
`; f( b2 {8 y( Q7 t# ~Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services. J9 n6 S' V- U* D" A6 c
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s! _8 K" w# J3 ~# B2 i$ B
School)
" C. C; o0 K4 E" p5 ]% E2 s3 {3 |, V. WMust have supervisory experience4 _1 L$ i" {5 d# x
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system. r! p) ~. l( B; Y
Must be computer literate" _: R4 M* s5 T2 b# o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
2 m2 }& X6 d% I9 Z3 IMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
) F; ]3 z' U4 \" t5 Y! r5 rMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills9 w6 E6 k) ?2 |4 Y$ r0 y
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
