CRNE Study Group for Internationally Educated Nurses

Directions for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is offering a study
group to assist Internationally Educated Nurses in preparing for the Canadian
Registered Nurses Exam (CRNE).

5 w2 W, F& R' W0 b0 aThe emphasis is on reviewing materials as outlined in the exam syllabus through a
0 F7 R- ~6 ]- D  Y6 H% cquestion and answer format. Participants will become familiar with the learning
material and develop test taking skills. The study group is co-facilitated by a Career
Coach and a professional in the field.

1 c" k$ l5 R; n/ |. K2 YTo join the CRNE study group, participants are required to be deemed eligible by
; ]3 X* g2 n: }" ]College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to write the
October 5, 2011 exam. Individuals who are completing required coursework and are
0 j; j3 h- c1 X, |1 C; Iintending to write the CRNE, may be eligible to participate in this study group.
Participants must ensure availability to meet study group attendance requirement.
Registration for eligible clients is based on a first come first served basis. Since spaces are
limited, early registration is strongly advised.

Candidates who live outside of the Calgary area may participate in the study group through
teleconferencing.
