Position: Retail Trade Supervisor NOC 6211

Location: 6408 Gateway Boulevard, Edmonton, AB T6H 2H9
Wages: $16.00 per hour, 40 hrs weekly, rotational shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Description/Main Duties:
-        Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
-        Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
-        Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
+ e  T5 `! h' S& Z; N-        Sell merchandise to customers
$ _! |& T( C% I# k8 s-        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
-        Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
-        Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
-        Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

-        Completion of secondary school is required
-        At least 1 year of retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk is required
-        Experience in the furniture sales would be an asset

-        Ability to work rotational shifts including evenings and weekends
