死和干细胞研究而深受广大右翼保守派基督徒和穆斯林选民青睐的美国共和党高层人物
中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会
议题上持右翼保守立场，自身同性恋但是伪装成异性恋和异性结婚，为了政治目的公开

sexual harassment.

abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy

to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
$ r/ Q3 @( A* v1 Q$ uallegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
. R2 \& G* p9 Y# f1 [$ S  krelationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

. G+ S; j! h% N7 l; Q' SWest confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
just graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
18.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the

Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
. R7 `( U0 a% P+ [leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
# a5 g) B. x2 B! j4 hpositions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
( S3 Q+ h' {4 m& I/ N# ^7 [$ Pbut as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
immorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
