: G$ B/ h$ ~  A" A" |& ^" fDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
2 r; m% R# ^) L7 n/ f5 }Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
- M4 u% L( g& XEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
9 o; d/ C( z0 |9 ]! GPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
. g$ o) n$ q! X" X7 SOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
# Y5 v' a' J% t6 e* `Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
' y; r7 N6 g7 ~) Z! mTraining related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
4 U  V, w  Q3 S5 {% ]Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
