  Duties
+ q1 S# _9 ]$ N0 uDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
0 w5 y2 D2 H9 OObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
- b) O4 w- h1 o' ?  w5 \8 NPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
