Duties
+ t2 x, B. q$ d8 M0 ?$ v, oDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
" `2 l* a$ Y+ rObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments- J& F9 v& D6 x9 g
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound0 H1 s2 h$ W l. a6 u* T
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
! P/ w* M1 n. J, ZOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

; [; h% [) ~/ x4 ^/ aValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.; ^# ^) D+ n; s N* } P8 L/ v
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
+ P) G# {7 Q7 |( P, ^1 ICurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
