Duties
6 I8 ?/ p- v. y' D- [3 ?% bDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items8 t8 v4 P: o* ?$ o3 T& d
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments9 U) e; N1 k$ d0 D
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
L8 ]. |0 ]( G5 iPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead1 I$ t( j- C$ p |7 N" `5 Q( t
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions' i, H5 x1 v; O% ]% t8 W$ `5 |
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.: b+ t$ D% v, D' Z
High School diploma; previous driving experience required1 q+ F5 h+ N3 ?4 j7 e
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar/ {4 }) M; l' K6 W0 V
