Duties
7 @- y+ _6 ~# f' e( sAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)" B4 s9 H6 {# Q/ z1 Q
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
: ]! C; k* W Z& |& O0 H1 |Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred; ^6 f- R; M* ^6 r
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred/ P" P$ G$ r+ P+ K! C9 |$ q
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
7 U+ p' `& R2 G0 B p6 v9 p. [Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred9 K* P, I# ~, i' }) Z
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit! O$ Y1 K+ M8 F( w
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
