Duties
5 }% B/ S9 Z! `0 \2 W6 rAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
4 o$ x( g4 i. i! P$ E4 `& Y% J1 CProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
+ W. M- M M; y, G/ kPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed! Y' G% k7 {! a* c7 S+ B
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
2 I0 P C( \1 uDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
( {4 M6 F& b* j6 L# S5 MSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset6 j# m8 M* @1 b. v
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
6 b1 `8 S: o( [, g/ Y% `Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
