Responsibilities
D3 t. p' I/ R; A, z■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
& N) v0 p* o/ h6 C. [■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.+ a9 z/ L: f& Q/ p
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships: P1 l/ r2 |/ y4 H0 t
Experience and Education:
$ j" T1 {6 k3 e4 d■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.! L: J$ a5 S$ P9 j$ H% p+ F. g, P
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.0 k) a/ y3 U' x- `+ }
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.$ M. n O* `1 X5 m5 b2 k
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
# B! r" I5 [1 H* L: O■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' ~# V7 y# d. p6 U; A■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.3 ?! G B3 P4 u h8 M
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.7 i" C6 }0 K) B q# v
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
