9 z Q# a) V8 E$ \" t' N% ]6 a Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
4 @- _2 v5 y7 W5 \5 J4 e* b t4 b Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
. l4 U) Y7 a0 K5 \6 E- m9 Q Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.0 h9 z: J4 ?/ j5 U
 Completing required paperwork.# E1 U# y; T& t" S: ]. V4 O H
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops., P8 E/ z/ v5 }0 `& t
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Z0 u4 ^" n" s# k7 O Z. B& O9 h' B4 f9 n
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.8 V4 X1 Z5 O% x2 u' M4 l2 [
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.1 N0 e" R& C# p( Q
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
: y; o2 c) E7 W" @# l Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
0 G0 G2 T9 n& z2 b0 c" Q7 L* p, b Knowledge of community resources.
; q$ ]# b" }& R; `& U Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
) q; a. _( h6 q Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. # ~' K8 X! J0 S" N- z
* F: z: \7 n/ E$ e/ a8 NPosition:
) [/ O- O0 b4 ^+ T$ C$ K& `This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. - L2 G$ \6 v# I# A' R6 \
