+ V# v) C! T: o Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
" m* E* i9 F0 C1 R Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
) T1 z) ]/ p0 {! B& v" n7 K1 u% }2 q Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

# c6 v( M2 ]. ^" e Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
4 }  ?; ~9 M3 g Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
; l, h; S6 L, z) l1 A% U3 r Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
: C* p$ s8 U; l2 O9 { Knowledge of community resources.
* T* B8 q& x, D2 I0 {: y2 Y! k Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
