 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience., D, j' O9 e. Z5 g
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
) }' Q7 ~. f( I$ G0 T Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.( J- V/ W5 F& q9 I. E% y6 Z
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.$ j4 H4 P/ ]8 v3 I4 U7 h& a# h- R
 Knowledge of community resources.! }; q& @) s* J8 c
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.$ p3 _( S2 d4 d, [- p8 O. b! W
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. # q# F7 X7 K c$ E+ ~7 E) M. N

Position:
$ `/ N) D3 d O, Q1 g# qThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
