The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
+ z2 c, j+ R2 e( @• Answer multi line telephone system% s% o" c2 Y. e6 L

a9 h* Q& j2 o7 X0 U4 W" X• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads$ K8 C& s" ]6 C
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits3 p9 K! C: k0 i& k. \3 o
• Input and manage high volume of data5 U. g9 L9 k' s2 E
• Update and maintain databases8 K) g" O9 m& M5 v+ H
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
, ^! I- C: G B/ F& w }• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
d- A9 Q4 b/ W" y* _ `• Process payments and complete weekly deposits. N6 L; l8 S) k6 v
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
; m3 |( i5 q! @0 o• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors. C- G, c; w k% g8 f9 t
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre$ Z& f7 E6 Z- p6 r0 H
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:$ C/ U7 i4 s0 `. w l

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
) w2 p% d, q/ @' a- ?" u5 I: i• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
/ |3 O) x! k" {8 T& [; d• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Q+ B, f7 x* H' `• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work4 X% R5 h- ]0 S+ W9 I
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population4 ^5 K; K- L% B7 H% q, h

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
