The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required/ U [! i* H7 I0 s% ^
• Answer multi line telephone system5 p- Y5 j9 `7 K" B! O/ c
1 F- O) b$ c" T w. i' j* lAdministration:
! T/ Y- u- {# f; ?3 L8 j& d5 O, S• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads' m' I) p- T% w' P7 s5 f1 p
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
* ^+ k( W6 Z# V• Input and manage high volume of data' r: w8 K# e3 } u; @3 m
• Update and maintain databases- m- C! R8 ?0 z3 g
• Generate monthly reports and statistics7 j" r6 A- Y e0 L6 U/ ?
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
_( Z9 d% q5 p• Process payments and complete weekly deposits, L, Z$ O3 L1 T1 w
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
4 ~( y6 o8 j0 s- u s( {• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors; t2 Y/ _1 p( E5 _9 K$ W, J
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
k' W7 N: c; o4 G' ^6 J• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
6 t; P4 W7 U& @4 t• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS / a+ S( E* W: h$ d3 |) m
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
