The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

1 S4 R: O& I. hReception:: T/ g+ {& m! g" U# X+ H  s
•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required3 W' n! g% n( l+ W
•        Answer multi line telephone system
# o& [- S/ l+ O2 c5 R! ~- H- J% f' L
Administration:" u4 ^* a2 a% H: c+ o
•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads' l3 R" V% s5 h7 F" Z( `/ q1 m
•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits* `- m) O8 w7 r3 r3 ^/ Y
•        Input and manage high volume of data' n/ o+ O. K. N* r: R! I
•        Update and maintain databases& |* [& _# j8 F8 k- w- T% S1 U
•        Generate monthly reports and statistics+ v0 d" h0 N7 R4 v: `
•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation! P/ |+ ^! e6 O! b9 [& j
•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
; X3 H3 ]0 {' k; F. G& N' |•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms
" t5 H* }, g( R3 P# y5 |7 V# V•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
4 ~& E# }+ w: y' G+ p•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre; B0 e8 N3 S$ n. ^
•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:( S: i0 P2 P  g: b  t0 a

# ]* d7 p+ O5 T8 e•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure" p. ]- ~3 Y0 z6 V# c' N! I( L
•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
4 u- c5 {2 f2 n! e( S- e- y* H% [9 Q5 G•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills! k3 y9 w- z4 |# V% E
•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work5 T* V) _8 J9 O7 x2 i/ T8 P
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population
- M' z! n2 g* D•        Strong customer service skills
( Z/ i6 E8 k, L) u4 W( |; G1 Z# ]•        Strong organizational skills and abilities' W3 a) A+ c7 c4 p! L
•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset0 o0 J: `9 k& y8 F- P
