The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.% U! F9 l! n8 C7 u

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required( V4 i5 p6 q: M2 j6 _
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads p2 g0 G; D7 p
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits% D$ ?' |+ |1 U$ |* _( R
• Input and manage high volume of data
I% [3 Z- X" }: R• Update and maintain databases# y* S" n% N4 ~% m! t w+ V
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
1 z' d7 d( V* ~• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation/ U, b `, o% N
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits& ~: w4 k* @* O7 U: h2 I, ?6 J6 t
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms1 z. K* X8 q- M5 U: H
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
% h6 x( |* P- s" S• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure: V5 i. [ ?/ V" a. r
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 7 b& s2 b" b. M9 c5 x
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
