The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 2 \. F% E. v: P4 x6 j
: R& l2 X$ ?# F$ r. }This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required$ S: | a. t" z# u, m/ Q" Z
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
4 ?! \6 }5 o8 \: h: j6 x- L• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
& x, _% j, ]) b8 k- |, w# |6 ^* D• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
: c: f5 N6 v q• Input and manage high volume of data
7 C @' p x2 F8 \• Update and maintain databases( B/ c/ A J1 h7 g7 x
• Generate monthly reports and statistics3 i, W2 A4 ^/ `9 [
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation B( V* e2 p5 N; `$ z3 h
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
% M' f3 N5 L6 v• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
7 i: T: m2 `; \9 K- }* W$ Z' _• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors6 Y3 A5 I5 k# C3 L; n/ n, |
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre* p J# Z1 ]/ ?5 |
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

( g) H3 w( |6 F9 D• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
