The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

7 b9 u/ Y3 @. `' o4 @• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required! ~1 ?- Z S; T" \5 H( W" q& T
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads, X5 p& T, R+ p& ~0 {
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
& f% q3 `0 {+ w( d: f- b• Input and manage high volume of data
, h f9 e4 H9 l1 k: h6 C• Update and maintain databases
5 l9 \" |3 x4 J, _, D% V3 l• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) i( y- z/ J) }• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
1 n/ S; T$ z& c2 \• Process payments and complete weekly deposits& T x, E5 y4 @5 [! k/ {# x
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms) ?- f3 G' A: a/ \
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors7 d3 @( z/ [9 ^) m# k" }
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre, E$ v0 V) a+ h
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients/ h3 y4 @( ]. k; j

Qualifications:
/ Z3 r" @5 P! [6 o2 Q) D8 M- Q4 I/ ^8 ?1 t! S; b
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
( U+ ~6 `. l. F• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
# ^- n5 j! @, w• Excellent verbal and written communication skills v0 G# N, _/ x8 J4 S, O
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work% n4 W9 A; A4 r1 I2 Q; T
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population9 s, m: S+ g% ^' c( j* ?1 G$ n
• Strong customer service skills) b7 U3 H( J2 ^6 H9 t% ^
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
