Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

. H8 k! D- v( Z3 V( z9 KKey Responsibilities:

! J- C- E; x7 A8 j3 i7 P' ZWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
. z( w, i: J( ?4 uReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
& S: S; y: F' a' K5 Z) \' x  Y% @/ vResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

7 M4 p- ~' c9 Z8 kQualifications

8 @1 A% U* m' Y2 Y, CGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
+ D+ D# X9 e7 m! oMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
' H9 @) h! |- q( `( l9 H! e. LUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
' [6 ~4 ]+ l( N4 s; E4 r8 sCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
