• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;" y) g& L2 _8 ?) L& d: b
• Equipment fabrication guidance;- N3 q; B) e: Q7 ~/ R
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;* v, B+ @) w- o! ^/ U F( l& r

6 ~- h8 M/ ]- Y* GQualifications:
" L" }+ K! s& G* M$ r6 o% q• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
- [9 E7 u6 {+ R# M% W• Equipment design experience is required;
1 _/ G: G) }$ g% K. Z/ |• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
0 B2 k Z2 H {+ w. I• Familiar with CAD software;1 q6 X/ q8 w% X' z
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;/ f1 K) u6 S; {6 J) f
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

1 y6 B$ R4 I8 s8 X6 P4 R' S- RSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
