• Process research equipment design;/ }# X( x9 l: f; i
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;9 x8 D, t7 s2 ?$ Z0 ?/ p4 ~& ~ v. w; ]( d
• Equipment fabrication guidance;

Qualifications:
2 w" P' t/ G8 Q" A+ Y& m5 y. C1 C* ?; {• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. . s8 s8 e1 z1 t
• Equipment design experience is required;% M! z: e1 Z! v1 Z. g; B
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;/ k9 H" B. X, I4 f6 d. ]0 O O. J
• Familiar with CAD software;
9 U' |( Q4 U: X) G! F( A. ^• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
$ e5 |* N) b; Z- E• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.! F6 ?$ c% l: L+ [( H2 |, O

Compensation:7 Q1 H& L, i6 E1 u* l, i* S* ?
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
