" l" |- W) x0 \ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
- m1 }; |6 z1 {+ G1 Z0 @5 k2 d Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
4 e% L/ o0 Y+ a1 {  h' W Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
" y/ t8 t  ^% S; T; e6 e% ^ Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
7 f5 d6 }1 ?: R' N Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
& V9 |% I$ N. \. m+ s. l% n8 F: | Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
5 M. F0 b! ^1 l  B$ m! p Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

  s+ G* m1 Z9 g4 |. i# w" q8 BThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
  u4 L2 l) h. ?$ O  z) i& j7 Qstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
