Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
/ j* m9 _9 A: ]5 S$ ^Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields / @, e' l( a, E% q/ b% c% G/ X
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role 2 u, E) x$ X& n3 \) p* _) D
Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
7 @* R# _0 F- O8 o3 pExcellent communication and negotiation skills
( ~5 T5 t+ u& u. ~Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments 9 j1 W2 W) t# {1 Q$ G2 b' Z6 \
