Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
5 y9 A$ F9 Y4 i7 a2 V' j7 o2 EExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
$ a! P& }! m+ I. q$ ~Excellent communication and negotiation skills
# u7 Z0 T; [- u3 c$ N4 YExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
3 e: ]8 z# `, ?% E" E" z* J4 QCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
