我在国内上大学、研究生学的是化工机械专业，毕业了在中石化的一家炼油厂做了7年检维修，之后到上海做了2年。来加拿大一年半了，现在在一家铝焊丝生产厂做机器操作工。很想找回自己原来的行当，做项目工程师。Fort Mcmurray有很好的机会，怎么才能够找到一份入行的工作呐？
大家一起努力了。

最终只有一个结果，我们胜利了。没有胜利，就是还没有最终结果

8 N7 I  [/ D, ]2 \: P我电话面试的OPTI Canada，还没有消息。原来说的是2周内会告诉结果。到2005年11月24日就是两周。电话面试完了，我写了Thank-you letter的E-mail跟进，结果还在等待中。

. j2 O* Z! J; g' p另外就是有中介的一个机会，需要明天先打电话联系。

Even the project engineer needs to talk a lot if it working location is in the field. If the position only deals with the project design, not the on-site construction, maybe there is less requirement of communication.

It is better to submit your resume on the company's website rather than monster or workopolis.

Yesterday I sent out an application to ATS Reliance for a Mechanical Project Engineer in Voncouver.

Reading a book Winning Cover Letter reminds me that a good cover letter is as important or more important than the resume.

A long way to go to get a dreaming job. Will stick to it.

Winning Cover Letter is a good book I am keeping reading today. On the way home, I went to the library to get the Winning Resume.

1 k6 W0 n& t; l刚刚上班3周，准备在这家干一年。时刻准备着，找工作，找工作，我要找工作。下一份工作的目标是$25/hour，希望一年以后能够实现这个目标。
我的同学一家马上就要搬家到埃德蒙顿了。我在关注中。

2004年6月9日来加拿大。

" w# s, Q: w! R  D  e在多伦多downtown住过9个月的地下室。

- Z/ L* P: W  k, Z) @3 t在Mississauga找到上一份工作后，搬到Mississauga。一家人和别人分租公寓，一年多。
- i7 g' x/ P7 I" ^3 l' I
. @8 d' l- L; J2 [! y现在是自己一家人住着这个2室一厅的Apartment。是我从出生以来，所住过的最好的房子。哈哈，我在中国混得也不怎么样。
) n6 A- ^6 [$ G: v
4 ]9 e$ w2 V& B% c+ ]9 k上一周刚买了一辆Toyota Echo，2000年的，20.4万公里。上任车主每天开高速往返Burlington与Mississauga。我们是第二个车主。买车都是太太在张罗，太太的功劳。

晚上聊起来，意外地发现，买车的日子刚好是我们来加拿大2周年的日子。

  ]4 s+ ?1 |* I4 E0 r+ z" D想起几天前在网上看到该不该来加拿大的讨论，我觉得移民加拿大是一个过程，先苦后甜。性格决定命运，不管收入多少，喜欢先苦后甜的过程，就应该来加拿大。

谢谢版主一直以来的支持和鼓励。我不会轻言放弃，打好基础，最终一定会建起高屋大厦。
