Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
' Y7 w, e8 j- V% t! Z: w  Loperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
# V! z+ o, g& _0 \" s- j' Gthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
! N$ @6 K: G: q) @8 ncustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
! c0 H1 L; n) @( Q$ b  jCustomer Service
) K% |4 `  O5 z& W• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
4 W  G7 v7 N# P: {: d• Assist customers find what they are looking for
% n  C. z; m; S9 H• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
5 S  T* M4 F# a) l( R• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
8 ]% S6 ]1 W2 L$ a7 `8 P7 vStore Responsibilities
6 B1 V8 S1 C4 g9 |+ o• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
: }9 m" g- p: j8 T8 [! W* o• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
3 T2 F5 J  o: p2 E• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)

Qualifications
• High School graduate
. s8 {0 }1 P# R; u  S7 [( S- H' @• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- N' {$ [$ m. ^1 Z+ U& P• Good problem solving skills
1 K# J+ f; {3 F2 P• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
3 V% P5 v, i4 xchanges in strategies
Working Conditions

Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
( x; w3 [, D, Z$ ?& w4 q: _• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
9 D8 @& {5 ?+ B/ _; m0 l7 F• Standing for extended periods of time
0 w; J& x+ a$ V# D* o• Comfortable climbing ladders
