SALES CLERKS

- l* T& L; O2 ?: F* }: B/ R0 fEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
: c4 @5 x: H; o2 a& T" E8 g+ dcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
% z+ t- B$ U- ^% ?the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
: i% Z- e3 |2 T• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
/ Q) ^; T! g" h$ k0 e6 Q" mStore Responsibilities
& _6 ~* q: G2 g8 C• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
- l- p! V: k) [+ X8 C• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
# c* S8 f0 y% L, n1 ?0 \• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
5 o" Z/ a3 \5 O3 p' c• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
# U+ O$ \7 }5 k• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

, E4 Y% U8 q* e: N5 o4 \• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
9 m* e5 `% a9 m9 k• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and

• Fast paced environment
# D& ?/ W" M$ k; z; c: F• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
7 T" y9 G" u! `" k) W# {• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
