# s4 D. U' o& C# z- m5 vJob Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
) z, ^2 |5 e( fthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
1 a; [( x. J5 h/ \# v( U/ ?customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
% d0 M0 g, F- X( UCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
4 r8 B& ?( i9 ?; u5 V9 C• Assist customers find what they are looking for
+ \$ r3 L, Y% |7 p$ Q( E+ k5 L/ V• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
" [$ ]1 {* y* s$ [! `- D" Dstock
" b1 ?2 n2 j) X8 Y5 n% D• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
! n& \* O% V4 O- {looks under 25 years of age

• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
. P+ B& }- E! U+ Y• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
$ U( i+ c, i& ~  p• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

! _9 E! B- l2 |- m• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
3 a' `# a. l+ ~2 q7 R• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
