: P; V8 |# J( KReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

" _8 v! A5 I% a6 m! }KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, c4 P8 z9 N3 m  q% y# L        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
& }" P0 [3 T9 z% J        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

- H* G) L0 {1 }QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
* g5 v$ O, Z! g3 c# _: a. z•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
+ N2 _6 A8 i" _! Z5 a! u•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
9 B. j7 @5 e- W/ r4 a. [" A& {•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
