( w! N) O2 {4 A5 V1 y& i w& XReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.- ?) G7 K) g0 X, Y: @ ^3 Q$ }" @5 K

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ u; W' p# o6 [+ H# H( L4 V Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects9 k: n+ Q+ `7 ]
 Review, develop and improve processes and procedures5 l$ b7 Q$ K7 I; o9 B+ A) q
 Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs$ P/ A3 J# W# G @
 Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
5 L4 m C8 l5 a: t0 ]/ z' s0 z" [9 g! {
QUALIFICATIONS:
8 S& C+ j: ]/ g• Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman# y. [3 d7 K i0 j0 |# J5 q! O
• Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
. e! ]$ g+ Q* b m- s" d0 j! W2 S• Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman# Q5 J f0 n3 p: G8 J$ D
• Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
' B! H9 b2 _( R1 U' W• Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
% m- m! p3 S; C• Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects4 K) u* |6 W8 k+ n, g) s
• Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
: o5 s3 \6 _& I5 G• Ability to communicate with all levels of management) {& p1 V/ |; b
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team" G8 D, ^$ w% @" A$ v; \
