Primary Focus  
The Pipeline Integrity department is looking for a Senior Engineer to provide engineering analysis and expertise to support crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs, with a strong focus on inline inspection programs that identify, monitor, and mitigate these pipeline threats.  
Responsibilities  
The primary responsibilities are to:

-Develop of crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs, including selection of features, development of associated trending, and determination of reinspection intervals.

-Provide technical expertise related to fitness for purpose calculations and field NDE as related to crack and mechanical damage threats.

: K* M5 R2 {" v. _$ O0 O7 X& RServe as an internal technical expert on fitness for purpose assessments.

: X2 E4 l* n4 Q" x  _Ensure that all standards and procedures related to crack management programs and mechanical damage programs are up to date and available to all users.

4 t: n( T/ W* B( T8 z0 Q+ N( DMaintain leading edge expertise related to pipeline crack threat through ongoing review of industry publications, attending appropriate training and industry conferences.  
Qualifications  
! X0 Y: U* n' `8 G/ L5 N  C Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience. Or a masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Requires exceptional communication and report writing skills.
+ W- L, s' s- W* u+ b2 O
Self-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible and a team player.

. e% b: |- X0 s# i. eExcellent functional knowledge of computer applications applicable to the Pipeline Industry.

8 L  z% k7 D+ f! Z0 X. SProject management experience and the ability to work within a large organization.

A broad based, solid understanding of the business of pipelines is important.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
