周三阿伯塔教育协会发表了省通考结果，在2004-2005年，77％的3.6.9年级学生达到及格标准，２０％达到优秀，行政官员说这与2003-2004的结果相符。
最新结果表明９年级数学及格率增加２％，优秀率增加１％。

Education Minister Gene Zwozdesky 说增加的分数反应了数学教学方法的改进但他同时又很关心分数下降的其它学科，如６年级的语言艺术和９年级的社会学。这些结果说明省通考能够帮助老师找到需要加强的科目。他希望在新的一年学期里能够加强读写能力的训练和社会学。

同时１２年级的毕业考试成绩也在周三公布了.多于８０％的学生在所有科目上都达到及格标准。在英语３０，社会学３0，数学３０和物理３０上成绩有所降低。但英语３０－２，社会学３３，应用数学３０，化学３０和科学３０成绩有所提高。

Relative, if compared to China, yes, to some extent. especailly math.
