What Makes Christmas Magical

pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then 3 G- T: G4 ?$ j* x, k
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can 0 r  d" X& I8 R( f2 y$ x$ {) ~8 P
smartly avoid it?5 C: g: ]# @$ q: _  K9 a7 J6 ~4 p, w
?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out   Y) [9 Q; w' _
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem 4 j  ~% p/ t6 S- r* G! [
to be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of 0 M1 f2 w2 \% _8 J
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a 4 n  A" P" A5 R* {, E; U( v5 u, N

be something like, 'Uh..no..bah humbug' all the time that some Christmas goodies

?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to ( y3 ]8 m- B8 Y+ H4 N, [* g7 Z9 }
substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with $ x) h  Y2 r" X" N
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
# P) K) i, O( h9 j! N, nfrom the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to , Y0 A3 L4 U) [3 C# h7 Z0 ]
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into 5 {" r( G  z4 `9 w2 P- Q" w8 ?) g
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will
  [" W1 H7 Y6 u* Mbe watching how you really eat. You can always have a few candies, one cookie or

?Another strategy is to bring - bake or buy - low calorie Christmas cookies $ U# f" Z/ E: a( i8 i" |
and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating ! L6 S3 u) v5 o
healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down
' O. v! A; v5 lupon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate . k& f, R3 O/ K* \
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.
, m9 ]7 t! O6 u  Q! zIt's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners $ e* A9 ?/ ?" i8 a' S0 D
