Financial / Budget & Payroll: monitor time-sheets for staff; create yearly budget for program to be approved by executive director; make changes to budget as needed; regular reports to executive director on budget/spending; Supervise Staff – ensure timely planning of future funding takes place; monitor 4–6 staff personnel & program progress; communicate with all project funders; monitor evaluation of program.

1 Q7 m C! d8 u7 _/ w$ m+ i _1 wReports to Funders: ensure all staff submits timely reports including evaluation of their programs; Manager completes financial report in consultation with accountant; Maintain files for each program for each funder of the program; Report to executive director on proposals and report submissions to each funder for each program.( q- H D0 W6 {6 R

Work with Partners/Public: answer queries and concerns from partners and public; ensure partners are well informed of program status. Annual Report – create annual report on all activities of the program prior to Annual General Meeting. Professional Development – Be informed on current issues on race relations and youth leadership training.8 k4 H5 c' _. A$ V9 F9 y& _
8 j6 l `8 } K. M9 S& uProposal Creation: write or supervise writing of all proposals to all funders of programs; Ensure communication with funding representative is adequate; Ensure criteria for each funder is met in each proposal.

8 l) u" v1 v- d" JKey Qualifications: Good knowledge of an Aboriginal or central African culture/ language; Excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society as it applies to Aboriginal people and/ or African immigrants/refugees, and the formal education system; Experience working with Aboriginal and/or African communities. Experience facilitating workshops; Knowledge of the issues facing high-risk racialized youth & experience working on skill development with youth4 Q, t0 h4 r0 C& V8 J. v: g5 _
3 m5 V% U$ P1 J N! _: V9 A: XPLUS: Knowledge/experience with youth leadership training; Personnel management experience; Computer skills in information management, communication/spreadsheets. University degree in human services, preferably with a focus on education and/or study of race relations.8 M! q% T& `9 ^: F- a8 n2 T
