Financial / Budget & Payroll: monitor time-sheets for staff; create yearly budget for program to be approved by executive director; make changes to budget as needed; regular reports to executive director on budget/spending; Supervise Staff – ensure timely planning of future funding takes place; monitor 4–6 staff personnel & program progress; communicate with all project funders; monitor evaluation of program.& ~ s, R4 K$ `9 y0 P4 Y$ e
1 F% u, U+ t, d3 l* UReports to Funders: ensure all staff submits timely reports including evaluation of their programs; Manager completes financial report in consultation with accountant; Maintain files for each program for each funder of the program; Report to executive director on proposals and report submissions to each funder for each program.0 _8 C4 p/ q( ]# N* H
- s& Y- x$ J. k7 U! A! J/ v, \Work with Partners/Public: answer queries and concerns from partners and public; ensure partners are well informed of program status. Annual Report – create annual report on all activities of the program prior to Annual General Meeting. Professional Development – Be informed on current issues on race relations and youth leadership training., ^0 O6 F0 d' I( n! @+ r" |9 R

Proposal Creation: write or supervise writing of all proposals to all funders of programs; Ensure communication with funding representative is adequate; Ensure criteria for each funder is met in each proposal.7 ~: ^- T Z% i: P+ a8 {
+ \& T% X% F/ F& E+ P/ G1 F1 |Key Qualifications: Good knowledge of an Aboriginal or central African culture/ language; Excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society as it applies to Aboriginal people and/ or African immigrants/refugees, and the formal education system; Experience working with Aboriginal and/or African communities. Experience facilitating workshops; Knowledge of the issues facing high-risk racialized youth & experience working on skill development with youth4 s; J6 c$ D1 |' }2 r( {0 Z
& E6 o$ t# a; W5 J K
PLUS: Knowledge/experience with youth leadership training; Personnel management experience; Computer skills in information management, communication/spreadsheets. University degree in human services, preferably with a focus on education and/or study of race relations.- p$ Z! e) Y) ^* u4 N1 O, v
