• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations 2 t: T* Y7 E- d1 G l8 o
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget;
0 ]7 w/ N& c7 u& M) |9 _1 g• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion
, R$ e( F& g$ `3 X0 W5 ythe development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; ! X6 z" j, d$ c* R% k
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
. W4 I1 Q5 h; g8 wchanging needs of the organization and community; 5 ^" O( l' v) c& e
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue
+ M$ }; t# m3 o# q% X7 Rcommitments; 0 k: b8 [: O9 j( F
• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; 9 P" v, i6 X1 T! O" x
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective 9 l( A1 m. X. h
selection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; : q! g! Q& r; O; I& E
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed;

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
+ C" I: J/ F: R( Y9 x; i2 N1 xthe implementation of systems to manage these risks; ! l# x5 p) F6 C, o/ ?
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
' j' N( B( U& P$ }$ B/ Xperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED * J( o- r$ Y! [
the forthcoming year;
) m3 |) f6 z" Y. D, S• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical 5 `3 v) g1 h1 E8 E+ A
practices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

Required Professional Designation / Certification
5 ^. Y/ E- j/ A2 ?9 {8 a, S- Q• Post secondary degree or equivalent experience.

: z5 W( d3 _7 \/ m0 O7 K; D; Z• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;
9 i4 ^* n j; o5 i0 r" A4 M% b• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation
7 f! f' S# s7 Dabilities;
c7 z- l2 \2 a6 Q: r5 t! N4 i! z• Exceptional interpersonal skills including knowledge of Public Relations,

and financial statements; and
