一对老两口有两个女儿, 
8 ?% s2 ]9 |& n# N4 e% P. F; oThe older daughter was married to a man who sold umbrellas, while the younger one was married to a man who sold straw hats.                 1 F5 R# D8 y% O# U 
大女儿嫁给了一个卖雨伞的,二女儿嫁给了一个卖草帽的。

所以,每当遇到晴天的时候, 
0 n" ]7 l' u! O6 {' g3 L. othe mother would sigh: “Oh, it’s a bad day for my elder son-in-law.” 
- c* I; T' c- \9 f+ V做母亲的就会叹气:“哎!大女婿的雨伞卖不出去了。”$ N0 Z2 F% b8 g 
But if it was a rainy day, she would sigh as well: “Nobody’s going to buy my younger son-in-law’s straw hats.”4 t: Y* u# p- i3 p, E 
遇到雨天,她还是会叹气:“二女婿的草帽没人买了!” ,& v7 z( l+ y0 U; J+ m 
So she was never happy, rain or shine.% K4 k/ ^! W% s% q& t6 T) z: V 
所以,晴天雨天老太太都不高兴。2 ?: F( a- r& D* h& _) l 
But her husband saw the matter in a different light.He was happy, rain or shine.         9 r4 V: I) k$ f- U# v& } 
可是老先生却恰恰相反,不论晴天雨天,老先生都很高兴。3 b1 X* C8 j8 C3 R+ k% Z- B8 y: o 
On sunny days, he would think that his younger son-in-law would sell lots of straw hats,/ U$ |  }0 @- k4 i0 y 
晴天时他想到二女婿的草帽会卖得好, 
) s8 M, q0 W$ o( @# r  uand on rainy days he would think of his elder son-in-law doing well selling his umbrellas.! W* m% S( ]: v1 S 
雨天时他想到大女婿的雨伞会卖得好,

其实,幸福就是一种心情,
