France's gateway to the Mediterranean is the iMnguedw Plain, a narrow coastal lowland reaching from the Pyrenees to the Riviera. Two strategic routes connect the plain to the heart of France: To the west one finds access through the previously mentioned Gap of Carcassonne to the Basin of Aquitaine, and the MBT Rhone-Saone Corridor leads north into the Paris Basin.

The Lowland of Andalucia, MBT Shoes wedged in between the BtHica Mountains and the Sierra Morena in far southern Spain, is a land of olive groves dotted with place names that recall the Moorish occupation. The main river draining the lowland is the Rio Guadalquivir, a name derived from Wadi-al-Kabir, Arabic for "the great river." The narrow Portuguese hrwland, which MBT fronts the Atlantic coast of Iberia, and the Ebro Valley in northeastern Spain are the other major peripheral Iberian lowlands. The interior plains of Iberia, collectively known as the Meseta, differ from all the others in Europe previously discussed MBT Shoes

The Central Sierras divide the plateau into two parts, Old vibram fivefingers and New Castilla, the homeland of the people who have traditionally dominated and ruled Spain. The New Castilla Meseta contains the capital city of Madrid and also includes both Extremadura in the southwest and the plains of La Mancha near the center. w% s4 I# _ F \
The third and final terrain category includes the major hill areas of Europe. Hills dominate the European midsection, just as mountains occur mainly in the south vibram five fingers and plains in the north (fig. 2.1). From the coast of France, a broad, compartmentalized belt of hills extends eastward through central Germany. |
