The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.! H; L. G6 N) x% q1 }3 |$ E( t9 p+ s

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
$ \+ c$ D6 P; n- Z) t1 H6 p§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution

§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
! a5 F6 d$ ]+ W( @§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
; c5 D6 w7 r) @* ~6 X§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software

G& dThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
