Turn around mean shutdown.
1 ?4 T, K" Q  b; fIt could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

4 S5 }, b" E: p0 t, _* @) A; lI think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

# q2 I4 r3 w5 JI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
: e6 B: L; Z7 d5 q6 P/ QOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
3 N# _, a* b: m- X8 e3 L1 uAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
My foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
