有谁能帮忙解释解释 turnaround 是什么意思？在这个工会的帖子中。谢谢

举例说，干十天，回来休4天，就是一种turnaround.

Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

I printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
One local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
Another said:” maybe means shutdown.”
My foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
