Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb' G) J4 w Y& t$ O) W" n. _) x3 T( S
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then4 t3 A0 _. `9 R. E
The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) 3 F' i' {. u G( `7 ]4 ^% u' j5 w
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG& f3 R3 L( Y( r S5 e
1 R( V& ?9 m2 T. `) j+ n9 h4 J
Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29
