Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
0 L+ g% H4 E7 @& I After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again. $ c" [5 t1 c( }- V
It is a cycle.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
* z! [& c! s u' _* C( h9 OSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
' I! o$ p2 S1 k" L6 I7 X8 |The problem should be inside the bucket.

: Q# ^1 o7 ]6 OWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
4 X1 g4 X+ i/ Q3 qUse a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
, M2 n5 k( @2 sConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.$ O; s7 H: i7 J

The next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
! `3 y/ E X( R6 r! ?; @They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.' {9 C/ x a+ U, _2 E8 ]
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them. 3 a! m+ E1 J9 v& N' U3 B
