每一年的T1 Tax Return都有新的变化，这就是加拿大的one part of information system

那么在2009年，政府给了广大人民什么样的benefit呢，新出台了3个 Tax Credit，分别是First-Time Home Buyers' Tax Credit(HBTC)， Home Renovation Tax Credit(HRTC)和Working Income Tax Benefit (WITB)

questions on the second point above: Home Renovation Tax Credit
the expenses must be more than %1K, does that mean one spend or accumulated? For instance: i spent $200 on doors, $150 on lighting, or $700 on landscaping. None of them exceeds $1000, but the sum is $1050. can i claim this $1050?
another question is if i spent on many items but the total price is < $1000, can i still claim those?

申报的是总额，当然每一项花销都要在S12表上列出来，只要总额超过1,000就可以。

按你的情况，可以申报1,050，但只有超过1,000小于10,000的那部分可以用来抵税(15%)。你申报1,050，只退你7.5。要是总额小于1,000就没必要申报了，一分钱也不退

YES, Just keep all receipts and make a spread sheet to claim the totals. You cannot claim if you have a figure less than 1000

If you spent more than 1000, that means you can get about $150 back. Of course, you need more income shows on your T4.
