6 S5 F, U* X C. _" Q3 @( n3 ?9 b, {4 EThe minimum time to pass the three level exams is of course three years as CFA institute only offer exam almost once a year. But you have to finish the level iii exam within 7 years, otherwise, they delete your record, and you have to restart from level i again. many people simply pass level i or ii, and use that as a stepping stone on their resume. once they get a job offer, they may not pursue the program any more.

/ s, S$ |9 c( _You guys may not know that there are scholarships offered by CFA Institute or your local CFA society (Edmonton Soceity):

And search online for hte Edmonton soceity scholarships. They used to offer that and I was lucky to get it years ago.

$ j. F; p, H( G4 e! k6 ANo matter what is your background (quantitative background including engineering/math/CS could be an advantage), get an MBA + CFA + good english, you may be a portfolio manager someday. But this needs really really hard work. Best wishes
