Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
) B4 [& ^; x, ^8 _  G9 `Sell merchandise to customers
+ @: b) U4 A) S* [Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
$ M' E) s8 L2 i1 pMaintain specified inventory and order merchandise
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
. t7 T% l( J9 [" NHire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

Employment requirements:

- B2 N2 p& {/ \+ Z* h5 c         Completion of secondary school is required
/ I8 _9 I: _8 k1 t- x- h         2 - 3 years work experience as retail salesperson
