- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects4 ~& k5 Q, y H9 t
- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects" [5 E1 l8 w- K1 g" X; o/ U4 x
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions: d5 f) S' [' A! z% [" ?7 B4 d& W
- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects" }3 R6 Y8 p: P5 O' X1 i6 e
- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices. p* i% n. m3 _9 p
- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
