几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic
/ G+ E1 S, w6 q- N! f& Y; a

: q, I9 s: N$ K" K- Z2 mironic:' W% R' \5 Y4 _! F' e
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?$ q2 S( P; P% g5 }
there, I was being ironic* V- d: [: e' i! q" R
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
$ L( C) O. M# m! z4 |如花: hi 美女
q8 S9 X! S* Y+ j* D7 y& ~: R/ B美女: are you being sarcastic?
+ x/ \, E2 A: e( k如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!' ]$ d0 `% f8 [! }" e$ W: ?6 M4 Y# T
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
