6 D# ^2 e6 j8 y# {3 S9 T, x# a# @
J' F/ \' C2 S! m) ^$ C# Fironic:& j! f$ w+ M s: t
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
9 _; |" p4 j+ z: R1 d! Ythere, I was being ironic
+ l7 O' q9 Q: X4 [) K1 bironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)8 `* u# i3 l* H- N6 e2 L% ^, ]
美女: are you being sarcastic?4 @4 e' r& H! `+ K8 X
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!7 X* W+ V i- K6 A. J1 L$ r
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty, better be polite。 |
