# ^6 @% c) \ n$ x- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth$ h2 o% ^7 B3 W- ^
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling1 _) m: [2 C7 f1 t% Q( y
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
5 ^8 S1 s! D9 q* E- G- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
* Y2 }# k3 m" x2 M! D7 B+ X- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health' K% m. I- ^ f# g6 d: V u
+ j' _ Z- ?* V3 {9 R

Key Qualifications:
* w. J6 g8 _" u( n) T3 G- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences& p# D7 [, N7 s e N5 c L
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement% Y( Y4 I/ n( Q6 G# {
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others- h" c: V0 g9 ^" \2 N
- Experience doing program development2 O3 Q2 r6 l+ J$ \6 E
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
/ j5 I# S- a! i- {+ [- Self-directed and able to take initiative3 X8 m$ l" g4 j2 M( i. ?( m
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
4 [* J% K# A3 H. @ ?! D+ O+ e- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Assets:
* |8 }) m+ @7 }1 D: u- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation

- An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health/ \$ U; ~& f' V' W' C
- Skills in marketing & promotions
