- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth) B$ b4 T- {' {5 D0 E
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
7 I$ R3 Q; W& [- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
* _2 ^; o4 j+ u& J& y- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs& j3 r9 g. ~1 n: E1 D; v8 n4 h9 p
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health4 E8 C% b; d/ v# O, W. \% j- l/ f

; G& v$ \3 v7 {Key Qualifications:
$ a; {4 v; V9 c- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
/ I9 J' Y8 _* O v! ^$ z- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement0 X. i# ]5 V) D
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
5 ^" B+ L( ~( z3 w8 T1 r, R- Experience doing program development, u8 b$ f& v. }
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
; K3 m9 g( |& g2 z3 m( T' Y- Self-directed and able to take initiative! Q7 Z& e: X2 [: N' a& |
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset* C0 Z, f1 y5 I) U p6 K
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license- x+ c- K! _: z6 p6 p1 ~

- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

- Skills in marketing & promotions
