- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth; o/ Q+ B: ?9 Z8 S1 d
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
9 T# ^! o4 Q( {* T, i( J% V- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
) |: ^8 \* z/ u6 l: a* S8 j- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
: [2 Q4 K% f1 G, D6 o/ A/ F% u# H$ @, m- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences d& Q' I% h4 N! M5 e
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
" e. L0 L' l/ M9 R- E! Z% M- X- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
' {$ h( J7 G) D E1 q& n- Experience doing program development
' z! p* e m3 i6 J9 j5 F- Strong organizational and coordination skills3 s0 B/ [9 Y3 n+ {
- Self-directed and able to take initiative$ a- X4 ?! T# D2 Z: l$ ~
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation/ v1 ?: V+ z3 y3 N5 K
- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

; g# ]1 W6 U7 T- Skills in marketing & promotions
