Position: Project Coordinator, Smart Choices.

- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
: D2 S9 u" @' [% Z- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
6 U" E* G M: Y% g7 M: o; ~- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups8 J; U. S- o3 d1 f/ Y$ L9 M
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs* B2 s; H8 S8 E2 s: [( W, m; N$ S
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
6 {+ D3 |% {* c; `1 m# J- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences7 j8 N2 p) g+ ^) A; |' X3 T
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement1 l( W% j( M- b: n; |
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others) i- v. F' i2 s% w' o. S/ Z" |
- Experience doing program development
! V6 |7 d( P, K2 n- Strong organizational and coordination skills
$ \7 o/ P& ?2 }$ w- Self-directed and able to take initiative9 R# N- v) g' D7 ~+ x
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
, l( g+ m6 w) v# H2 b7 C4 d' E- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license2 T" d0 a# J8 _+ a- j
